Perfect for toddlers!
I’m always looking for ways to create obstacle courses for my toddler and this has been a great addition. I love how easy it is to change the shape, the fun colors, and that it’s coated to prevent splintering. My toddler loves rearranging it more than walking on it lol.

Son loves it!
My son loves his balance beams. He takes them apart and puts them in different order. It is simple to take apart. Moves a little too easy but he enjoys it.

Beautiful Wooden Open Ended Balance Toy
The toy comes as two parts - 6 round wooden coloured circles and 6 reversible balance beams with 4 designs. You can configure the beams in various different shapes, allowing for kids to get creative with how they play with them!I love the natural wooden aesthetic and fact they are fairly light weight which doesn't make it an eye sore in the house. I'm not sure they would be as good outside, they seem more like an indoor house toy.

Good
The packaging is very tight, and the quality is checked after opening. The wooden boards have no odor and are very smooth, so they won't hurt children's hands! Children also like the color matching, and can combine different shapes as needed

Easy to use and we'll made.
This balancer is a great tool/toy for toddlers to practice balancing, especially those in PT and need some extra practice. It's well-made with smooth pieces and brightly colored. Its also easy to assemble and take apart for storage but due to the smoothness you may need to have it on carpet, it may tend to slip around on smooth floors.

Cousin Chaos and Balancing Beams: A Grandma's Delight
Observing my grandkids transform the family room into a laughter-infused obstacle course brings me immense joy. The BlueWood Balance Beams have become a fixture at our family gatherings. As a former gymnast from my early college days, I thoroughly enjoy engaging with them and guiding them through some basic gymnastic steps and turns. Indeed, my children and grandchildren delight in subjecting the adults to their puppet shows and playacting just like all kids do, but we get a respite from such activities in the form of gymnastic competitions which can be a whole lot more fun to watch! Plus, I love seeing them all be so active with the jumping, turning, balancing and dance moves across the wooden beams,,,(especially when they fall asleep from sheer exhaustion!)Naturally, there's always a prize cupcake for everyone afterwards, sometimes with a special surprise baked inside, like marshmallows or peanut butter cups. It's quite humorous; despite being a top gymnast once, I've never been voted the best at anything by this lot—except when it comes to cupcakes. There, I reign supreme. I've come to terms with the fact that this grandmotherly physique can no longer hop, spin, jump, balance, and giggle atop the beam without taking a tumble. The queen has indeed descended from her throne! Yet, watching them occasionally fall (thankfully onto soft carpets) is part of the fun. I'm quite content and pleased to be seated comfortably in my big chair, capturing these moments with my camera, and if I do take a spill, I just call my puppy to come lick it up because I will stay safely in my fluffy chair! I am no longer a crazy youth and after the tumbles I have taken in training, I feel blessed that I can still get up off the couch without a grunt of effort. Some grandpa's in this house can't say that - but he shall remain anonymous...I love the pastel colors and the children seem to cultivate the colors into their imaginative play, so more bonus points there. But the best part? Watching those cousins connect and create memories together. They're building friendships, learning to take turns, and cheering each other on. It's heartwarming to see and I love t9o encourage group activities and large toys that require them all to learn to take turns and be patient while they are collecting the beginnings of a lifetime of happy memories and being considerate of the others at the same time.

Great for open ended play and indoor excercise
The BlueWood Morandi Pink Balance Beam is well manufactured and is aesthetically pleasing in the pink colorway! It's intended for toddlers and pre-school aged children who are working on such skills like: body awareness, center of balance, and coordination. Upon inspection, the balance beam is of high quality with a smooth texture finish and no noticeable defects in the wood material. It is compact enough that you can slide it under or behind furniture, or tucked away in a closet. There are a few ways to configure it and is also used as a road track by my car loving preschooler. The balance beam is a great addition to an obstacle course and other open ended Montessori play equipment. My only critique would be that it needs to come with some kind storage bag so that it could be easily transported to play dates or to take along on trips to Grandma's house. Overall, it's a great product that is used daily and has a permanent spot in our toy rotation. It will grow with your child and the heirloom quality ensures that you can pass it down when your child has outgrown it.

Great for learning to balance
I ordered this for our newest grandchild, who will soon be growing into this balance beam. If you turn the boards upside down, the child can first learn to balance without obstacles. We have a defined play area for our grandchildren when they are here while visiting. It is their play space, which fits nicely on their play mat.Since woodworking is my hobby, I like including Baltic Birch plywood into my projects if I can. This looks like 3/4" 11-ply Baltic Birch plywood, which is more expensive and superior to 5-ply hardwood veneer due to its dimensional stability, smooth finish, and strength. I like the non-slip backing on the circles. The product sits low to the floor, which is less intimidating to early walkers. This is a colour balance beam. While I have given this product a five-star review, there are a few caveats that, in my opinion, are not worth deducting any stars but nice to be aware of. In the first photo, we are not using all the parts. In the second photo, you can see the different shapes that include the 6.7" hub. You will see that the 3.9" round does not fit into the hole. The rightmost photo shows that those two pieces are larger (3.9" vs. 3.5") than the others when used to support a dead end. The larger rounds cannot be used if the boards are flipped upside down because the obstacles are too close to the edge. In the fourth photo, we could have used the split oval instead, but I used the larger one to illustrate that it serves a different purpose.

Great for toddler balancing, but a bit small for older kids
This balance beam is a great toy for toddlers to practice their balancing skills. It's well-made with nice, smooth plywood pieces and bright colors. However, it’s smaller than I expected, so I wouldn't recommend it for kids older than 4 years due to the size. It’s easy to assemble and take apart for storage. My toddler enjoys it, but for older kids, it may lose its appeal quickly. If you're using it on smooth floors, you might want to add some non-slip pads, as it can slide around a bit. It's a nice toy for younger children to develop coordination and balance, and it stores easily when not in use. Just keep in mind the size—it's best suited for toddlers.✔ Pros: Sturdy plywood Bright, appealing colors Easy to set up and store Safe for young children, low to the ground✘ Cons: Smaller than expected, not ideal for kids over 4 Beams can slip on smooth surfacesThis review takes a look at the Balance Beam for Kids 3-5 made by BlueWood.

Perfect for Little Feet
We set this up in our playroom, and it quickly became a favorite. The colors are bright, and the wood is smooth with no splinters, which is a huge win. It’s low to the ground, so no worries about tumbles. It’s simple but keeps the kids busy practicing their balance. However, I did notice it’s a bit small for older toddlers, and the joints could use some anti-slip to keep everything stable. It’s a solid choice for young kids, but better for use on hardwood than carpeted areas. Worth considering, especially if it’s on sale.

Excellent Quality Balance Beam Kit For Kids!
This is a great Balance Beam for little kids to have to play on and safely practice their balance. It is great for little ones to have to practice gymnastics at home. At this time so many are watching the Olympics and young ones can start practicing now with this beginner Balance Beam that can be set up in different ways for more balancing options and versatility. I have size 9 woman's shoes and I placed them in the center to show you even an adult can use this little sturdy high quality Balance Beam too. It is even bigger for kid's small feet so for sure they can balance or run along it great. This is for my granddaughter who can now practice at home and it is safe for her little sister and brother to play and balance on it too. It is also easily portable for outside, gyms, sleepovers etc. too. Two thumbs up!!

Fun balancing act
I'm using this product with my 3 and 4yr olds. My 3yr old has been having fun with this. My 4yr old loves rearranging the boards and trying out different patterns. For the winter months, I think this will be fun to keep the kids busy. I don't think it would become their favourite toy of all time but definitely helps with balancing. It's also something that can disassemble easy without taking up too much space. All the little humps on the boards seem fun and cute but are not the most comfortable to stand on.I don't know that I would pay full price, $149.99 but it's on sale for $99.99 which would be more within my price range. Still slightly expensive but it's good quality and wooden.
