Being a fan of, and having respect for Dolly Parton, I could not resist purchasing this pan. I needed a small cast-iron pan for frying my egg with vegetables for breakfast on an induction unit. This pan is exactly the right size, 8-inch diameter, and the inscription on the bottom is priceless - a fantastic marketing tool. So, unlike many others, who bought it for the inscription and to hang as a kitchen decoration, mine is a workhorse. I love Lodge cast-iron pans, and this one offers the same high quality as my others. I highly recommend it.

I received this 8 inch skillet today and made cornbread in it. Tonight came out beautiful no sticking whatsoever has already been preseasoned before you receive it and it’s made in the USA in Tennessee where Dolly Parton is from and I am also from Nashville great bye five stars.

This pan is adorable. We collect cast iron, especially Lodge brand. My husband collects to cook. I collect for looks. 😅 That's how we ended up with this gem. I will say that I did not notice it's only 8". Not our smallest, as we have the egg pan, and the cast iron skillet Christmas ornament, BUT I was so excited about the design, I really had 10" in mind and was surprised it was so small.

I bought this for my daughter for her birthday. She loves it. Sturdy and really cute.
