Stanbroil Replacement Auger Motor Kit/Drive Motor Kit Fits All Camp Chef Wood Pellet Grills

A buddy of mine used my camp chef smoker while I was out of town and left the pellet lid open. Rain soaked all the way through the pellets and into the ash cup. He then tried to use the smoker and drove soggy pellets down the auger tube and left it until I got home. The pellets then hardened. When I got home I took everything thing apart l. The shear pin did not break and the motor still worked. At least I thought until I went to cook a thanksgiving turkey. After finishing the turkey in the oven I found out the motor had sheared of gearing teeth so it would not be consistent or hold heat and the smoker would shut down. I replaced the motor and shear pin (bent) which was fairly easy. The motor when first used was very quite but now a few months later sound like the rest of them.

I bought a brand new Camp Chef Woodwind pellet grill but when I tested it for the first time the feed auger was not rotating. I found that the motor had gone bad. Frankly, I was a little surprised they didn't test these things but their customer service was great and sent me a replacement. However it was going to take about a week to arrive so I found this one on Amazon and I was able to get it before a weekend BBQ I was having. I swapped it out (Camp Chef has some how-to videos on youtube) and it worked perfectly. I've since received the replacement one from the factory so put it in storage in case this one ever goes out.

Neighbor was going to toss his pellet grill so I took it and rebuilt it from Amazon parts. The pellet auger was jammed so of course this motor was a necessity! Plastic gears inside strip out of the auger jams. I now have a decent pellet grill for less than $100 with all new electronics and moving parts. The motor is plug and play!

Both parts look as good, if not better, built as the OEM parts I replaced. Both functioning great!

Installed easy and works. Only thing is Hubby said it moves slower than the manufacturer (Camp Chef) part.

Works but it's some work to do the installation. It kept my smoker going for another few months. (I Upgraded)

The motor failed on my pellet smoker. I found the replacement on Amazon for a good price. Once installed, my smoker works just like it did before. The item works as it should and it arrived in a timely manner.
