Review: can adjust - very good product has a good because of the belt holes around it. Review: Adjustable throughout the day, wears well, looks good - I purchased this same size belt maybe 5 years ago at a Dockers store in a mall; and I've worn it an average of one day per week. It is now starting to fray along the edges, so I ordered a replacement belt from desertcart. This replacement is more flexible than the belt I got from Dockers, and that addressed the only concern I had about the first belt. This belt allows me to adjust tightness around my waist for many events, such as: When standing up I can easily tighten the belt so it stays over my hips, and when sitting down I can loosen the belt for added comfort. When putting on a quilted shirt (say if the weather cools off) I can tuck it in my trousers and loosen the belt; when removing the shirt (say if I'm being more active) I can easily tighten the belt. I have a braided belt that does not have actual buckle holes all along it's spine like this Dockers belt has, yet I can adjust tightness with the braided belt; however, it is tricky getting the buckle rod (?) through the webbing and centered on the braided belt; plus, the braided belt looks frayed along the area where the buckle rod has gone in and out many times. The Dockers belt does not show wear around the holes where the buckle rod is placed. Of course, you can always adjust the tightness of a belt with holes every inch or so; however, each pair of trousers has a different thickness of material between the belt and your body; therefore, this belt with holes every quarter inch along its entire length provides maximum adjustability for every pair of trousers.

Replaces my years-old broken belt
I like braided leather belts. Dockers makes a fine one with many holes for precise fit. This belt is a quality item. The problem is that braided leather belts are a poor design. They tend to stretch out and the small braids tear. Eventually the belt looks bad. And you gotta get a new one. Just comes with the territory. I don't think there's a way around this with a braided leather design. But darnit! I still like them. They just don't last forever. By the way, stretch is a very strange thing to rate in a leather belt. If it's too stretched to fit correctly, you have to adjust how you buckle the belt.

It's my "daily driver" belt!
OK, this is my "daily driver" belt. I literally wear it every day (and have worn this exact same model belt for many years), with shorts, slacks and even more formal occasions. Pros: It's very adjustable, open it a notch for comfort, cinch it down when your wearing cargo shorts with water bottles in your pockets. And being a bit older, I appreciate it easily handling my weight fluctuations over time. It looks appropriate on both casual working in the yard days, and heading out on the town. Cons: Well...since I wear them everyday, and often take long walks with water bottles in my pockets, I cinch them down quite tight often....and of course that major stress does cause the belt to wear and then eventually break and start to unravel after a year or two. But, I can't really fault the belt for that...I know I cinch it uber tight at times....the infinite adjustability and day-to-day casual to more formal use is what makes it a winner for me.

Braiding began to break within the first 30 days
This is the 4th Dockers belt like this that I have owned over the last 7 years. They all begin to break after about 3 years. I only wear this belt for dress and it's not an everyday belt, but after about a month it began to break in the weave and has several broken strands now. Compared to the other 3 Dockers belts I have owned, this one is by far the worst belt, and sadly, I am now past the return date. it is less than 2 months old. They have obviously cheapened the material considerably.

Great casual leather belt despite the low price point
Although I purchased a much-more-expensive leather stretch belt at the same time I purchased this belt, I found I much preferred this belt. The design looks good and naturally lends itself to finer adjustments than a normal belt (with holes). To be completely honest, I thought this belt looked cooler than the more expensive woven leather stretch belt, but I doubted that it would deliver because of its much lower price point. I was pleasantly surprised. I know Levi's makes good leather products (I have had great experience with Levi's guitar straps, too), but a quality belt for $25 ... it be so.

Really nice belt. I wear it daily, and it is holding up great. You can just see and feel the quality. Not flimsy at all. Nice medium width too.

I ordered this product and the product I received was an elastic belt. It was not leather - or leather like at all. The product did not match the picture or the description. It was ENTIRELY different material. This is fraud.
