TilleyClassic T3, Olive, 7 1/4

My first one lasted 20_+ years before it finally no longer offered sun protection in the back of the hat. (See picture.) These hats have accompanied me on all of my sun-soaked vacations and, are now very necessary as I am fighting cancer and do not have much hair on the top of y head these days.Just too them in the washing machine when dirty. Don't worry about crushing them as they look better wrinkled.Tilley replaced my original under their lifetime warranty and this hat is another purchase in a different color.

This hat is not only functional, it has bells and whistles, so-to-speak. A pocket for money, a velcro clip for the temple of sunglasses slipped through the side, brass grommet, a wind cord, and it doesn't sink if worn on a boat.

I bought my first Tilley hat over 20 years ago. I still have it and it's been a great hat. I just wanted a different color. I love my Tilley hats!

I purchased this hat as my second Tilley hat. Construction and quality appears to be good. I have an LTM6 Airflow that is a 7 1/4 which fits perfectly. It may be a bit too tight compared to Tilley's fit guide but I love it. Now with that said I purchased the T3 snap up thinking it would be the same size since I ordered the exact same size. The T3 snap up is considerably bigger. It is too big for my head to the point where I can get my ears in the hat band and two fingers and move it with a lot of ease. I'm not sure what hat size I need now. I'm guessing one hat size down would be my size if not two sizes. It depends on how you like the fit. Like I said that I like mine a little more snug than what I think Tilley recommends. So with that said anyone purchasing this hat might want to consider buying a size down. Just so you know my LTM6 has never been washed nor dried. It is still fairly new. I hope this helps anyone considering this hat. I think it is a great hat if you can get the sizing right. I don't know which hat size to go by. I was able to buy my first Tilley in store so I knew that it fit. After measuring my head I may be a 7 1/8. Again I hope this info is used as a size reference for anyone considering this hat as a purchase. I don't know why there is a size difference. All around it seems like a great hat, I just wish it fit. I'm still giving it a 4 star rating.

I ordered size 7-1/4 and they sent me 7-1/2. It's JUST slightly too big to rest comfortably on my head. But even too big, I could feel the quality of the hat.

Bought this for my husband who's a die-hard Tilley fan. It was JUST what he wanted & he was thrilled. (He was so attached to his old one that he wouldn't give it up to get the "lifetime replacement" he could have gotten!). Great product, and great service here. Thanks

Dieser Hut ist ein Knaller, passt wie angegossen und ist sensationell verarbeitet. Da hängt kein loser Faden rum, alle Nähte exakt und sauber ausgeführt. Das Material macht einen super Eindruck. Ich bin total begeistert! Was den Preis angeht sind wir wieder beim Titel meiner Bewertung!

dies ist mein zweiter Tilley und auch dieser Hut erfüllt was er verspricht . Bin sehr zufrieden . Der Hut passte sehr gut . Der Versand war schnell.

Passt wie bestellt, sieht aus wie bestellt. Einzig schade ist, dass bei meinem Hut im Geheimfach keine Visitenkarten enthalten waren :-(
