This hat is great! I put it in the washing machine by accident and nothing happened to it. It is flexible, soft and light-weight. The band behind is a stretchy mesh so I can understand that it might be too big for someone with a smaller head. I’ve also used it in the pool and the beach and it seems pretty UV/chlorine/salt resistant too, the colour has not been affected. The best is that it fist all my curly hair perfectly!

I bought this for a holiday to Disneyland during a heatwave. I worried the white might blind me when sunlight bounced up onto the underside of the visor (I have very light-sensitive eyes), but it was absolutely fine and shaded over my eyes. My head felt cool and the fit was comfortable (my head is definitely not small! 😅). It was great for packing into a small bag due to the mesh being flexible. Highly recommend. My buy myself a couple of spares!
