Classic look, very bright
I bought a solar powered metal lantern to light my back porch stairs. But I hadn't paid attention to the fact that this area is in the shade most of the day. So I moved that one to an open area to light my driveway entrance and searched for something different for the steps. Cyber Monday sale popped up these plastic lanterns for half price so I bought two. I don't like having to recharge my lights but these are simple, just plug into a USB. Yes they are plastic but for they don't look cheap and the switch seems solid. They go from a warm glow to a very bright light, lighting up a 20' area easily with a white light on the highest setting. LED won't use much power and I only turn it on when I go to the hot tub so I won't have to charge it frequently.

Dim
Light wasn’t as bright as I expected. Charging port is hard to get cord into. I’m afraid I’m going to destroy the charger port trying to get the cord in. Once I do get the cord in, it seems to charge rather quickly.

Not reliable
Only had it for a month and it started flickering and working intermittently. Can't return it because it's past the refund window : (

Great dimmable camping lantern
Have taken this lantern on a few camping trips and the battery lasts all evening. I can run it on full brightness for several hours, then I dim it down when heads hit the pillows. When I wake in the morning, it's still running. Don't think it would do two nights left on, but this is working perfectly for my needs. It's also come out for the excessive power outages we've been seeing in CA.

Lightweight and Compact Vintage Styled Camping Lantern
This lantern is in every respect identical to another lantern I ordered a few months ago by XTAUTO, although this one is selling for a few dollars more. There must be one factory overseas that is cranking these out and selling them to different companies that are rebranding them.I like these retro styled LED lanterns because they are safer for using indoors during power outages than gas or oil powered lanterns, and I appreciate lanterns that can be taken outdoors and used in the rain on a camping trip. This lantern is very simple to use, just turn the dial on the side to select the brightness. It is very lightweight and bright for its size.Pros:- The lantern is very lightweight at only 8.7-ounces, and it can easily be hung from a tent without adding too much weight.- It comes with an attached hanging hook on the top.- It is only 3.75-inches wide at the base, and 4.5-inches wide at the top, and 7-inches tall not including the hook.- It has a removeable 1200mAh rechargeable Li-ion battery that is charged via a USB-C cable, which is far superior to the micro-USB cables that are common to so many other rechargeable lights.- It is made of what appears to be a durable lightweight plastic.- It has an IP44 water resistant rating and can be used in the rain or momentarily dropped in water.- The battery lasts anywhere from 5-8 hours depending on brightness level.- The indicator light lets you know when the battery is charging and when the charging is complete. Red and it is charging, Green it is fully charged.Cons:- I thought it would come with a charging cable, like my other identical lantern, but this one did not. Maybe they forgot to put it in the box, but fortunately I have plenty of extra USB-C cables.- It takes up to 2.5-hours to charge the battery back up from empty.- I wish a charging cord could be stored in the lantern so it wouldn’t be easily lost or misplaced.- The charging port has no covering. Although this is advertised as water resistant, I can’t imagine how water wouldn’t get in the charging port during a rainstorm and damage the internal electronics of the lantern.- The lantern does not come with a wall charger, although most lights do not come with chargers these days.I really like the vintage styled look of thus lantern, which will work well both at the campsite and at home during power outages. It has a nice warm glow and can be set very bright. My only concerns are as to how impact resistant this would be if dropped, and if this would be damaged in a heavy or windy rainstorm due to the exposed charging port.
