These are much better than the usb ones, which were not reliable. They have batteries and yet you can use a remote control. You can also control the amount of light and flicker. Great if it gets annoying. These aren’t, they’re nice and warm glow, not harsh.

Excellent set ! Very nice look and bright light for a votive . The remote control is great ! Highly recommend them. Well worth the money !

These are great candles. I love the way they add ambience and the remote is fantastic! HOWEVER - I did purchase a whole package of replacement batteries and as others have said, using ANY size coin does not open the backs. I have tried on many of them and it hurts my hand without loosening a bit. I suppose I'll have to throw them away and hopefully Amazon will allow me to return the batteries. If anyone knows of some hack to open them, please share!!! *** Update *** I am going to change to 5 stars now that I figured out how to get the back off to change the battery. My husband used a 5/16 screw driver. No damage and once the battery was replaced, a quarter could lock it back into place.

These are good little candles. They stay bright for a long time. The remote feature is nice. The timing feature is nice. They survived out in the rain. They survived decomposing pumpkins. I have lost several, however, to opening them to change out the battery. So there was a loss of a star for falling apart when attempting to changed it the battery.

This is a great product. They look nice and the battery life is excellent. I bought them to use in a ceramic Halloween pumpkin to glow from within while on display outdoors. I expected them to stay continuously lit for 3-4 days but I am still using the first one after a month of continuous use. Over 700 Hours! So much easier than the small wax votive candles I used to have to remember to light every evening. For a buck!

The candles with the remote are just perfect for putting on my porch in my lanterns! They are sturdy and the “flame” looks real from a little distance away. I love them!

We are really liking and using these candles. The remote option and time settings make it awesome. It wasn’t overly expensive. The flickering is realistic. Size is good. Working great so far. No issues.

I really like these .. when I first took them out the box they were smaller than I imagined and do look plasticky but in the candle holders they look absolutely brilliant!! Having the remote is perfect for turning them in and off rather than doing them individually. They came with batteries already in them, just had to take the plastic strip out, but they also had a spare set of batteries!! I’m really impressed!! Highly recommend, love them!! The photos don’t do them justice!!
