Easy for 64 year old to install and remove
Good product. First time using this kind of cover. Wish would have gotten one years ago. Easy installation. Me and neighbors about 2 hours to drill 18 holes. Holding up well with winter weather in Pennsylvania.

Bye bye Loop Loc ✌️
So, I stumbled upon this Vevor brand cover totally by accident. I had originally contacted Loop Loc about a replacement to my 20 year old Loop Loc safety cover because last fall it was really showing its age and the stitching on the straps was starting disintegrate-one week of some ice and heavy wet snow finished it off….they informed me they do not sell directly to the consumer-that I had to purchase through an authorized vendor (my pool guy I recently fired for overcharging me for chemicals and charging me for parts at closing that were already mine was one)…I wasn’t about to pay middle man their cut in addition to the almost $1800 they wanted for this cover. Facebook spying on my Google searches decided to put some used Loop Loc covers in to my Facebook Marketplace feed so then I started searching for a nearly new used cover where someone had replaced due to installing a motorized cover and I saw one of these Vevor covers new in box. I almost bought it but checked Amazon first and Amazon’s price was better (and I had purchase protection in case the cover was poor quality and/or didn’t fit. Now since I already had a Loop loc safety cover, I already had anchors in my concrete so before I committed to the purchase, I reached out to the seller and asked if there was drawing available that showed strap spacing to see if my existing anchors would work, or I would have to drill new ones (probably would have been a deal breaker if I wasn’t saving $1400). There was a little bit of a language barrier I could tell but we eventually figured each other out and they sent me the layout drawing. Turns out this Vevor cover was dimensionally identical to my existing Loop Loc cover (18x36 with end step) so I pulled the trigger and purchased it. Did I mention I saved $1400? I just installed this cover yesterday (10/12/25) when I closed my pool for the winter. The cover material itself as far as I can tell is identical to the Loop Loc. The only differences I can tell are the straps may be a tad less “beefy” and there’s 2 rows of stitching vs 3 rows on the Loop Loc. Time will tell if this is a weakness in the future BUT, I saved $1400. The way I see it, even if I have to replace this cover every five years, over 20 years, four of these covers will cost less than one Loop Loc cover. The only other difference is the strap adjustment. You’ll see the difference in the attached pictures. The loop loc cover was a pain to get the straps set-these were simple to loop through and pull tight. Not sure if I mentioned this or not, but I saved $1400 with this cover vs buying another Loop Loc cover. So far I’m 100% pleased with it. It looks great and seems like a good quality replacement. Update 2/20/26 with pictures. This cover performed like a champ during snowmageddon ‘26. We got 18” of snow here in Ohio and this cover handled the snow and the many partial melts to ice up until everything melted. This cover was stretched to the max at one point and is un-phased.

Great deal on a quality pool cover
I didn't want to spend the money for a custom cover for our kidney shaped pool so I got this and had it professionally installed. Very happy with this cover.

Good Value. Quality Hardware. Easy to Install
Springs and anchors are high quality. Cover is a little thinner than the expensive brands but strong and sturdy enough. We have a paver pool deck so drilling into stone to set the anchors took a while (had to drill 24, 2 inch deep holes thru engineered stone). All in all, I am happy with my purchase.

Exceeded my expectations.
I’ll be honest. I am skeptical when i make a big purchase and the price is unbeatable. I received the item in a very good protective packaging,. I opened tge product and it was everything and exceeded my expectations. The cover is very well made. The stitching was very durable and tge size of the product was exactly as described. There was a foot on each side extra fit perfect. Tge step was exactly correct. The hardware was not cheap hardware. Again exceeded my expectations. The cover does have stretch to it and allowed me to adjust properly with straps and springs. This is not a tarp. It is very thick breathable material. Buy this and you won’t be disappointed.

Good buy
I am going to give this a 5 for now. I purchased this in June and I just put it on. I am happy right now with the quality. I do have to drill out new center anchors (4) as my old cover only had 1 center (length) strap. Vevor should add 1 more center strap (length), so a total of 3 length straps (16x32 w/roman steps) to even out tension. There is also a recommended (net) 6 inches on the straps. You will have to play with that number. At 6 inches I collapsed the springs on both sides of the pool. And it was a "nut" to pull everything. Now we can see if it survives Chicago snow and very large (over 150lbs) fur babies using it as a bed.

Beware. Does Not Meet City Requirements
I purchased this cover for my brand-new swimming pool, only to find out that it does not have an ASTM certification, which is required by the city to pass pool safety inspections. If you need a cover that complies with local building codes, this one will not pass inspection. What’s worse, I had already drilled holes into my new pool deck to install this cover, and now the holes don’t align with the replacement cover I had to purchase. When I contacted Amazon about returning it, they said the return window had expired and advised me to reach out to the manufacturer. The manufacturer / selling company then redirected me back to Amazon, and eventually stopped replying to my emails and live chat messages altogether. Overall, a very disappointing experience. I would not recommend this product if you need a compliant, certifiable pool safety cover or reliable customer support.
