The wheel is solid, and there aren't any suspensions or spring dampeners, so don't try to ride this across potholes or gravel road. On city roads however it's a super smooth ride and way more than sufficient. The scooter itself comes with 3 modes, ECO, D, and super. The app it comes with offers another mode of Walk that's not available on the scooter itself. However all modes have a lowest max speed of 7km/h, so you won't be able to floor it and roll along someone walking. Overall love the build quality, the range is as advertised, and I'm having a lot of fun riding it in the city for small grocery trips or circles around the seawall.
