More power than Dyson original
Dyson batteries for the V12 slim are perpetually out of stock so when I saw this 3rd party alternative appear on Amazon I decided to give it a try. My wife is thrilled and the battery lasts longer and does more work than the Dyson original. Only difference noted is that since it has more mah than the OEM battery the LCD display of running time remaining is inconsistent and not a good predictor of actual running time remaining.

Do Not Buy!!! stops charging in few months.
MY Dyson V 12 Detect's battery was not quite enough to do the whole house in one day. But now with the extra battery can get it all done, including the rugs in my garage! Have been trying to use this battery for 6 months now.... it won't even charge!!!! so Now can't get a refund, and have to buy another battery. If I could give this negative stars I WOULD

Garbage, don't bother
Terrible, lasts about 5 mins. Wish I had tried it when I first got it, would have returned it

Works great!
These are hard to find...and after much searching, I'm so glad I found it. Works on our Dyson v12 detect slim.

Does not hold a charge
Does not hold a charge - The first time we used it, we thought we hadn't adequately charged it since it only ran for about half the time of the original battery, but then it just never charged up. Be sure to use it A LOT within the 30-day return window if you dare try this. The manufacturer is completely unresponsive so there is no real warranty despite the claim on this site.

Exactly as described, works great.
Ordered another battery for our Dyson cordless. It was exactly as ordered and even faster than the prior one. It works great and is the correct one for our Dyson.

Less battery time
Works with my Dyson v12 slim but the battery time is much less than the original one.
