Lovely little clock is pretty and works beautifully, thank you.
This is the sweetest little alarm! I've had it for 7 months, and it works beautifully. (I shopped around for a LONG time and am pleased with the one I finally chose.) My favorite things about this alarm: I like the simple, pretty design with the wood grain on the lower part, I LOVE how you can have the time be bright or very faint or completely off, and I am surprised at how much I enjoy the (multiple color options) night light. The clock has a calming effect and is pretty. (I'm not a fan of the sound options for the alarm, though, but the sunrise effect is why I purchased.)

Wake Gently, Feel Better – A Sunrise Alarm That Shines Without the Price Tag
I recently purchased the REACHER Wood Grain Sunrise Alarm Clock and Sound Machine Nightlight as a more affordable alternative to the popular (but pricey) Hatch alarm clock. I was a little hesitant at first, but I’m so glad I gave this one a try—it’s exceeded my expectations.I use it as my work alarm, and I love being able to customize both the sound options (26 in total!) and the light brightness. Instead of being jolted awake by a loud beeping alarm, I now wake up gradually with the soft light that mimics the sunrise. It’s a peaceful start to the day, and I genuinely feel better and more refreshed when I get up.There are three style options to choose from, and the wood grain finish gives it a nice, calming aesthetic for the bedroom. I know there are a lot of choices on Amazon, but I’m very happy with this one—it offers great value and functionality without breaking the bank.

Dimmable display for dark room sleeping, sunrise effect is lost on eyelids.
I thought the slow warming light would make waking like a sunrise. I also thought waking to the sound of birds chirping would be gentle & great. First night, I realized your eyes are closed when you sleep until you wake. So there is no slow sunrise effect. Also the chirp alarm for me was stupid. I was facing away from the clock, didn't sense the light & just thought the birds outside were particularly loud. I totally overslept. Oops.I've found a sound (you get a lot of choices, I like many) that is gentle, but I recognize as alarm. The light is a good idea, but I think eyelids ruin it & I'm not parting with mine. The dimmable display is GREAT--this is why I'm keeping it. The many buttons are annoying--turn off is third from right, snooze is top. Too many things to set, but some people will like that. It indicates on the face if the alarm is set which reassures me. Overall I'm happy, just not as great as I hoped because I don't get to witness the sunrise effect. A light alarm is especially handy for really early risers--again, it can't wake you unless you've opened your eyes. Also, it's a pretty slim design, but has to go in front so you can turn it off, so blocks the rest of the nightstand. The wood grain is plastic, doesn't look like anything else, but it isn't unpleasant. I wish it were smaller--more of a tennis ball than a big circle blocking the rest of my bedside table. It doesn't have a battery for power outage back up. That's a deal breaker. I have it plugged into my back up power for laptop & other appliances, if I didn't have that, I wouldn't have kept it.

Best sunrise clock on the planet!
The best thing I have ever ordered period. I am somehow gently awakened by the sunrise feature. I don't have to be facing the clock for this to work. Truly life changing. I'm no longer jarred awake by a sudden alarm tone. This is just so different and oh, so much better. It is hard to put into words. Trust me, you will not be disappointed. I even purchased a second one for my cousin. LOVE!!!!!

Sunrise, sounds, and sanity... finally.
Listen, I’m a grown woman who’s earned the right to be woken gently—not by blaring alarms that sound like the world’s ending. This little clock? It glows like a warm hug from the sun, plays more soothing sounds than a yoga retreat, and has officially replaced my need to glare at my husband when he snores (almost).I use the ocean wave setting to pretend I'm living my best beach life even when my dog is hogging the bed, and the soft light means I no longer stub my toe doing midnight grandma patrol. It’s sleek, modern, and doesn’t scream "college dorm room." A true miracle in wood grain form.If you need to wake up without rage in your heart, add to cart, darling.

Keeps our kids in their room!
From a mom of 4-- buy this right now for your younger kids. We have a fairly regimented sleep schedule, but we found our kids kept waking up with the sun since they can't read the time. This is a big problem in the summer when it's light at 6 am. So we decided to buy this "clock light" for them, and with a little training and incentives, every day my 5-year-old and 3-year-old stay in their room until 8 am.I love the overall design. The only flaw (that really isn't a flaw) is that the brightness of the clock is not adjustable. It's just a tad bright. You can adjust the duration of the light, and I like how it's a slow rise, just in case the kiddos are still sleeping. It's a quality clock with lovely wooden tones that would look great in any bedroom!

Good Overall - Just Two Concerns
The alarm clock is easy to set up, and I like the way it looks overall. I like that you can completely dim/turn off the display (I like sleeping in total darkness). There are plenty of alarm noises, most of which seem pleasant. You can also set how long you want the light to gradually increase before the alarm goes off. Functionally, I only have two concerns:1) You can only set one alarm. I sometimes need three alarms…one for weekdays, one for Saturday, and one for Sunday. With this product, that means I need to manually adjust the alarm three times a week. Not convenient.2) You can't control the maximum brightness, which means by the time your alarm goes off, it's super bright. I realize that's the point, but I wish you could control the maximum brightness.I got this because I wanted a sunrise alarm clock similar to Hatch but more affordable. I've never used Hatch but I'd be curious to check it out, to see if any added functionality makes the extra cost worthwhile. Still deciding if I'll keep this one or not.
