Royal Brush RD205 White Transfer Paper-9"X13" 4/Pkg

After working out a line and value boundary sketch, I wanted an easy way to transfer my sketch to anthracite Pastelmat. I used a small embossing tool to trace over the lines, and they showed up well without scoring the paper. The first image is the transfered line drawing, and the second image is my sketch paper taped over the white graphite paper and Pastelmat.

I use this to trace my photos onto dark art paper so I can create pastel paintings, pet portraits etc.

I am thrilled to have found and ordered this! It works great! I do pyrography, and it's a lot easier to do portraits without the dark lines that regular black transfer paper leaves. The white shows up just enough on wood to set in the outlines, and is much easier to hide. Also, this shows up MAGNIFICENTLY on black paper. I love working with black paper with pastels, so, this is wonderful to be able to transfer a rough sketch onto that. I had also ordered another brand of transfer paper, that came in a multi color set including white, and as you can see, that brand didn't show up as brightly as this brand. (This brand is the top, the other brand is underneath.) I HIGHLY recommend this white transfer paper, and wish I would have found it sooner.

I use this transfer paper on darkly tinted papers and primed panels in my art and illustration work. It transfers well onto dark surfaces. I use a Pergamano Embossing Tool to transfer my sketches onto the desired surface, since they create very consistently sized lines, but leave no marks on the sketch itself. I have them in several sizes and they work great, but a simple ballpoint pen works, too! I haven't really had an issue with smudging, lifting of lines or errant marks when using this paper, which is why I keep using it.** If you found this review helpful, please mark it helpful to let me know and help other buyers. loved the tracing paper.

I use transfer paper frequently in my trade of sign painting and other hand painted graphics on Sunbrella and other fabrics. Out of several brands I've tried, this one is hands down the best. One sheet will go a long way before staring to fade. Recommended for detailed transfer work. I use a fine ballpoint pen for crispest lines no matter the paper.

I've only tried this a couple of times but it didn't really show up as well as I would have hoped for white. It was okay but that's all.

I’m an artist and I used this transfer paper to transfer linework onto a dark background canvasit worked really well

I used it on a black denim jacket. My pattern and transfer sheet rip apart because I had to press down very hard to make it visible. Oder than that, it works great. I could try it in a softer fabric next time and write another review.
