I then learnt that there was a magic remote available as an extra. The KQLHLHDYZ remote control is a worthy replacement to the LG model.Functionally it is perfect, and the only slight criticism that I would make is that the volume up and down button and the channel up and down button are not highlighted in white as are all the other keys. Watching TV at night with just soft background lighting those two buttons just look like black oblongs. In order to see the symbols you have to make sure that some light is playing on the buttons. In bright light there is no problem, but we only watch the television mid to late evening. That criticism is not a dealbreaker, and the product is still worthy of five stars. It is our now “go to” remote control!

Dispatched and delivered same day as ordered. We like this remote a lot, and who wouldn’t? We bought them to replace the nasty cheap remotes LG seem to now provide with their new TVs! So easy to register to TV, easy to use, and not mega expensive either. Okay, so doesn’t include the 2AA batteries required but no big deal. We like the pointer, voice control, and central wheel which you can scroll to move up/down through the TV channels - it’s nicer than using the channel buttons. Everything about it is nice. Feels good in your hand and the shape is equally user friendly. Definitely recommend.
