The color change is really nice to have.
We have a humidity problem in our house since is almost 40 years old. I have a couple of cabinets in the house I keep my guns and reloading equipment in that I need to keep dry. I used to use the old silica packs I got from shipping containers. You never know when they stop working so you just have to refresh them on a schedule.I saw these with the indicator and thought they would be nice and ordered a set. They come in sealed in airtight packs and have the blue indicator showing (dry). I took 2 packs and put in the gun cabinet and keep checking them to see if they have changed yet, but still blue after a month. What is also really nice, is that each pack has the instructions on it so you don't have to search for the box. You can see clearly the color indicator (and I'm color blind) and they instructions for recharging the pack are also written plainly right by the indicator. This is a well thought out and basically foolproof system for keeping things dry!

These excellent packets will take up to 15mins to recharge, aluminum canisters takes up to 3hrs
The wisedry will take up to 15mins total to recharge in a microwave. Of course, I love these packets!I own a few Desiccant Silica Gel in aluminum canisters. When the indicator turns pink, It takes 3 hours to recharge in an oven.Wisedry saves me up to 2hrs 45mins of my time and on my oven electric bill.

Effective enough
Got these to help remove humidity from my house. The idea was to help dry the air in my laundry room where my central unit pulled air from, and it was fairly successful. Once I put these in the room condensation stopped forming on our registers which was the intended outcome.I never got a chance to test the recharge capacity because the compressor on our old A/C unit failed and it made much more sense to install a new one that had a humidity control system for a few extra dollars a month before they became saturated, but I suspect it works. At least well enough to last a good while.

Reusable in an easy way
I've had the "other brand" of desiccant for a while (the kind that comes in the metal tin). I went that route because I want to be able to re-use product instead of throwing it away. However, getting those tins open and baking the desiccant was a chore.Enter these. They are literally soft little pillows. You toss them into whatever you want moisture controlled and let them do their work. After they change color, you pop them in the microwave for several minutes, let cool and repeat one more time. That's it, and back they go.Some things I also like:* Instructions are printed on each bag. Six months from now, do you remember the microwave timing? Unlikely, but the bag tells you. Simple, but helpful.* The larger bag these come in is releasable. They are less likely to be absorbing water while waiting to be used.* They are individually wrapped. Again, as waiting service (or waiting to be sold) they aren't taking in water. Again, simple, but ensures a fresher product.Overall, pleased with these; and they seem like they will last. And easy to get going again.

Perfect to have, works as advertised
I've got a 3D printer, and that means a collection of filament, which means dry boxes. Well, I can't afford a dehumidifying storage unit for ALL of my filament, so I rely on these reusable desiccant packs to keep my passive dry boxes dry. And they've done just that. 100g is more than enough to keep my tote of 4+ rolls of filament dry. Once the color's changed, just follow the instructions, throw it in the microwave, and voila. Love them.

Seems to work
I have a couple of coolers (one conventional heat exchanger, one thermoelectric) that I keep in the otherwise not-climate-controlled garage, which can get humid during the summer, resulting in significant condensation inside the coolers and resulting concerns about bacteria growth, etc.I threw a couple of these packs in and they seem to be working! Very little moisture in the heat exchange fridge the last time I opened it.Four stars rather than five for the moment because I want to put the desiccant through a few microwave-refresh cycles before giving perfect marks, but I'm pleased so far.

Love the indicator
We are using these two ways: I've got one in a tub of 3d printer filament and my wife is using them for her leather purses. For the 3d filament I love that I can see whether or not they need to be recharged through the clear tub. Previously I had been tossing in any desiccant I got in packaging into the tub without really knowing if it was achieving anything.

Great for packing!
I ordered these to keep in my suitcase as I'm traveling in humid areas. So far I haven't had any trouble using them, but I haven't needed to reactivate yet. It does warn you to be careful when reactivating as they will get very hot and you don't want to use them on non-tempered glass in the microwave. So far works well though, 5/5 would recommend!
