Better for thicker hair
These rods are fine and I do like the clip on them, but for my fine hair they just weren't great. I also didn't find them the most comfortable to sleep in.

Thick curls
These create thick blowout curls it’s a nice replacement for putting heat on your hair. I’ve gotten used to putting on properly and it actually works.
