I like the design and it assembled fairly easily, altho better illustrations of the wooden pieces and an indication of what side of the board to apply the screws would've been helpful. More than that, I wish the company would've included the correct screwdriver. The screws for the bookshelf are Phillips head screws; the screwdriver I received was a flathead. No big deal? It was a big deal -- the flathead blade was longer than the length of the Phillips head screw slots, rendering the "included tool" utterly useless. I had to use one of my own. No big deal? It was, because the length of my screwdriver was too long to fit between the space between the base board and the first slanting shelf. Until I buy a shorter screwdriver, that board remains unscrewed. I'm ticked off because the company didn't include the correct size tool, so now I have to buy something. Just inconsiderate and inconvenient. Otherwise, it's a nifty bookshelf. Assembled in an hour.

Most intelligent people would be able to successfully put this bookshelf together, but the instructions are pretty vague and look to be photocopied and enlarged.I gave it such a low rating because some of the shelves had started peeling around the edges. It is cute, but definitely not built to last.

Solid sturdy bookshelf that I love the look of. Have been using it for 5 months with no problems. Seems to have a high capacity. I can load it with books no problem. Very easy to move around. If you have young kids, i would highly recommend anchoring it to the wall.
