These are the same erasing shields that we had to use in high school for our drafting classes (this was back in the 80s). It does the job well, just be gentle with them, because they bend easily.

My husband was in a drafting course and needed this. He says it worked well and for the price was better than at the local art store.

It is exactly as it says and looks just like the picture. I have been using it to help with some portrait drawings and I'm very pleased with how well this works. Arrived within a few days and I have no complaints whatsoever.

Someone missed the memo: Erasing shields are supposed to be .005" thick, not .004" thick. This one was creased but arrived in an undamaged package. Unlike the three-for this same price deal, this one at least has the burrs removed. Now if I can just get the crease out of it. Listen up! This is too thin! Charge a penny more and do it right !!!

this item is exactly as described. hard to say much more. it allows you to erase only what you want and protects the rest. great for those who work with pencil

Very disappointed, considering the affordability of the shield, it’s still not worth it. It is plastic and was damaged before I even could take it out of the packaging. Invest in a metal one instead. This is a complete waste of money. Quick delivery though

Staedler is always a great product!… Shipping on this took a very long time though. However, I did order it during the Covid pandemic in all fairness to the seller.

These are great. I had one years ago when I took drafting (yes drafting ... I know ... "the dark ages" ...before computers) but realized how useful one would be to my kids and their homework. My son was ecstatic because he always got frustrated when he had to erase a mistake (math, graphing, etc.) which invariably resulted in him erasing something he didn't want to. Bottom line, it always looked messy when he was done. Now he can erase only what he wants - he loves it and his homework looks 100% neater. Should have bought one years ago.
