The lights just got in and unboxed them the light, usb cable and a little keychain with the serial number. The lights look good and yes easy to use. Since I use them for macro and toy photography they are a great fit for my use. I will be ordering a few more. Can never have enough lights. SmallRig puts out some good equipment I have several lights from them as well as arm.

Pretty cool little light to go on my Smallrig cage on my Hero 13. Provides ample light for any vlogging video or even close up shots at night indoors or outdoors. Multiple colors, different strobing modes, even emergency vehicle light patterns if you have any use for those effects.

Overall, I’m very happy with the SMALLRIG Vibe P108 Pro RGB video light. The brightness is excellent for such a compact unit, and the color accuracy looks great (CRI 95+ really shows). The RGB modes and built-in effects are fun and useful for content creation, streaming, and creative shots. It mounts easily on a cold shoe and feels solid and well built. The light output is smooth, adjustable, and perfect as a fill light or accent light. Battery life has also been solid for my sessions, and it’s super portable to throw in a camera bag. The only downside is the power switch can be a little finicky. Sometimes it doesn’t turn on right away and needs to be switched off and on again. It’s also kind of a hassle having to use the power switch and then spin the dial before the unit actually activates. Not a deal breaker, but definitely something SMALLRIG could improve in future versions. Despite that minor annoyance, it’s still a great little RGB light with lots of features for the price. If you want a compact, versatile lighting option, this one is definitely worth picking up.

Great running time, and color and kelvin selection. Perfect for video on stage or nightclub atmosphere. Battery life is great, I take my old AA battery light with me just in case and have not needed it.

Overall, the light is pretty decent. The build seems good, display is large enough for me to read without the glasses I forgot are already on my head. I'm not too fond of how the cold shoe attaches to the light. The button action is a little sticky but seems to be improving with use. I'm using it with SmallRig's smartphone cage and it fits great while shooting with Blackmagic's cinema app and Rode smartphone mic. Definitely worth the money when caught on sale!

Well, after 5 months it is no longer responding to anything. The dial is completely unresponsive which would be ok if the light at least turned on. Sadly, it won’t. Because you have to rotate the dial to get it to work after it’s turned on. Rendering it completely useless. I’ll email smallrig about this and I’ll update if they respond or anything. Right now, I can’t recommend this light. Which is unfortunate as other Smallrig products have been very satisfactory. So , update time. After using it for a couple of months now, I have opinions. This light is still a good value, with 1 minor issue. That mount. That fragile useless mount. It broke after falling off my ottoman onto the wooden floor. From less than 3 feet into a wooden floor. It shattered. So I had to spend another $10 on the small rig dual ball mount. Because I couldn’t find a replacement part. I’d suggest just grabbing one at the same time saving you the hassle of having the light out of commission. Yet I’m still rating it at 4 stars as this little light is still my favorite tool of 2024. So I am not a professional, so bear with that. As a hairdresser, I like to take photos of my work, and this is so useful to me. With the dial I can control the warmth so the colors will show true. It also fills in perfectly to help eliminate shadows in my studio pics. And the mounting shoe is super stable with no rattling.
