Laudato Si': On Care For Our Common Home (Vatican Documents)

Very interesting book. Well worth reading. Just need more people to take notice of what is written in this book and then to read Fratelli Tutti also by the Pope Francis.

I bought this as a gift for a friend and passed it onto them without examining the contents so I'm not qualified to comment on the contents. However this book was delivered promptly, was attractively presented and arrived in good condition.

I write a monthly book review for an Anglican Church Parish magazine. Having bought 'Laudato Si' for myself I realised that the middle section of the encyclical gave a wonderful account of the Christian basis for involvement in all the ways that we should be actively participating in caring for the planet. This should be central in our discipleship..

I am currently reading it - so far, so excellent. Just what we need nowadays !

I would never dream of cricising the writings of Pope Francis as he has the courage and finds the time to write about the evils of the modern world
