Missing parts
Received the chainsaw sharpening tool today unpacked it from the box and found that the nuts that hold the carbide tips to the handle are missing. So until I can figure out what size nuts they are, I will be unable to use this product.

Better operating instructions.
Could use a manual that is more user friendly. Are there larger sharpener bits available?

Good for what it does
The jig helps to align the file and make a consistent groove. It does not adjust the depth gauge of the chain. When working the chain, I had to re-align the jig as it tended to move as I filed and needed to re-tighten the jig to the bar.

Solid and easy to use.
Tired of buying blades so I decided to get this. Snagged 1 for my friend also after helping me with some trees. Got them today, after 20 minutes I was set up and sharpening! Took about anout 20 and I was done. The old blade that would smoke now cuts like new! Do the other chain I have and Ill have 3 chains for hurricane season! Kno out my weed eater saw just for funzies. Thank you, love tools that save me money and this will pay for itself. If you need one, grab this one, very easy to setup and use.

Good control
I've never used one of these before and found the instructions more confusing than helpful, but once I researched this online, it was a breeze. I only use my chainsaw once or twice a year, but I like to make sure the chain is sharp before I start. Using this jig was more time consuming, but ultimately easier because it just sits in place as you turn the handle to grind. I tried using a powered tool, but that required more practice to get right. This is good for folks like me who only do this once a year, plus, it has a nice little pouch you can easily take with you should you need to do a quick job on a blade while outside. The five bits do the job but I don't recommend the knit gloves that are supplied.
