Great Purchase for Everyone I know. Love these. Noce size and yes you can actually see them in bad weater.
I am buying these for everyone. I love them and they are so useful for gift to others or self. Great Pricing. My college kids and friends loved these. I'm buying some for myself now. As a resident in the beautiful Washington State it is sometimes very dangerous going htrough the pass from the Western part of Washinton and going East or vice versa. Snow, low visability, cars on edge of road, people putting on snow chains etc.. Lucky we have an advisory on the pass conditions. These are super if you experience car troubles of any sort in any weather. ut with our seven plus months of a chance of low visibility this was the best gift ever to my kids and myself... Buying for my Miami momPS: I also bought the emergency blankets and a good waterproof trah can and emergency tire filler too. Love, Love, LoveIt was the cars xmas this year. Great themed gift.

Emergency LED "Flares" at a Reasonable Price
I've had other Life+Gear products that lasted a long time on self-contained batteries. I haven't used these in an emergency, but a brief test at night indicates that they should work well, either in flash or continuous-on mode. The magnetic bottom sticks to the side and roof of my car, but the separate magnetic bases are small and may not keep the flares upright in a strong wind. They'd work best stuck directly to a vehicle. All in all, quite a bargain.

Adequate
At first sight I was disappointed with these LED flare lights. Each one of them had a large graphic of text running the length of the light. I was expecting plain white plastic like what is shown in the product page photo. But after opening the package and examining the lights I found that the graphic was actually a sticker. With a little effort I was able to cleanly remove the stickers from the lights. The lights are a bit lightweight and plasticly, but for the price that is to be expected. There is a magnet in the base of each light which lets the light attach to one of the little bases that you get. The bases have a metal disc in them, but the weight of the disc is just barely enough to keep the light from falling over. Playing with turning the lights on & off I found that twisting the base turns them on with a steady light, turning them off and back on puts them in a flashing mode. The light color is red.Over all I'm satisfied with the lights and happy with my purchase.

Great product and give you another safe as possible
Good product very bright works as advertised. Please use them to prevent accidents. Wouldn’t want anyone to get hurt. You stand a better chance have a couple sets of these things out. Also helps to cover your butt from liability during her break down. Please do everything you can to keep yourself another safe. I had a close call her recently during her break down. It made me decide to buy several different devices to try to warn people of imminent danger bring freaked out.

LG437 Eco-friendly Glow Emergency Road Flares, White/Red, 3-pack by Life Gear
I purchased these to use as emergency gear for the car. I would like these LG437 Eco-friendly Glow Emergency Road Flares, White/Red, 3-pack by Life Gear more, if and when they do what they are supposed to do, but only one worked. Not good! I would have sent them back, but they only cost me $9.44 delivered with Amazon Prime, so . . . I am a busybody tinkerer : so I opened up the two not performing and found batteries in both had leaked. I cleaned up the battery leakage and found 5 of the 6 cell batteries were still good, so three went back into the lamp that is now working. Blinking with half a turn and then on solid, turned fully clockwise, at least in my hand. I will have a replacement battery when my order from Amazon arrives. This only reflects on the batteries, rather than the lamps, in that the weak point of using them is the battery life. In a car, in the summer months, maybe they should be checked regularly, as they may be prone to this leakage in the heat generated from a vehicle sitting outside or in a hot garage. One Star, due to the effort of first opening the hard to open package, finding the dual fault with two of three of the lamps and product quality in general. A tiny Phillips screwdriver is necessary to open the lamp to get to the batteries ( Alkaline Lr44 Ag13 357 Button Cell Batteries ) and the base magnet is prone to coming off, as I have had to glue one back on already. Also, they are lightweight construction and will most likely blow over if just placed upright on the ground. If the magnet were stronger, it could be directly attached to the vehicle, but the magnets are not strong either. One star here also for two stars down total. I rate these 3 stars as a final assessment, though I probably should give them two.

Great price, great product - 5 of 6 in the 2 sets of 3 that I ordered work good - just 1 flare doesn't work at all.
These are excellent! The price, packaging and delivery were also excellent. The only problem is that of the 2 sets of 3 flares that I bought only 5 of them work - there was just 1 that did not work. I don't see the point of sending it back for replacement because of the great price to begin with and the fact I'm alright with having just 5 flares in my emergency road kid.

Not "emergency" quality. Batterieswere leaking upon arrival
2 out of 3 lights worked. Amazon promptly shipped a replacement. 2 out of 3 lights worked in the new set. Disassembled one of the lights that didn't work to find that the batteries had started leaking. Replaced batteries and light worked fine (after some cleaning of contacts). Couple days later another one stopped working. Opened it and it's batteries were leaking too.So the lights work fine, but product is being shipped old with leaking batteries. If you are willing to replace batteries and do some cleaning right upon receipt. Reason for my rating is because these are labeled "emergency" and to me that means highly reliable. These are not.I just saw the battery pack says they replace batteries for free, they batteries are free but shipping for batteries is $5 for one light. That's almost more than I paid for this 3 light pack (with expired batteries)On their site, they also don't list these emergency flares in the products. Closest thing is "reusable glowstick" with an image of kids playing in backyard. Much more appropriate use.
