I bought these to use as markers for my knitting projects, and they work perfectly, come in variety of ring sizes and the amount of rings in each size makes the value unbeatable. Some of the rings/markers that are marketed for knitting cost as much as 5.99$ for 10 rings, and the fancier ones are even more, so to have some in a variety of sizes could become quite costly. The plastic box they come in is well made and keeps everything organized! Although I can't testify to their original uses and how they perform as far stopping leakage. I highly recommend them as a gift for any knitter in your family!!
