Works perfectly for sorting Lego! My husband is a Lego enthusiast and does a lot of MOC building. These organizers have been a game- changer. Capacity is great. They can sit on a tabletop or be wall-mounted. I will be purchasing moe of these as his inventory grows!

I picked up the Akro-Mils 44-Drawer Plastic Storage Cabinet as a gift to myself with the goal of finally getting more organized in my garage, and it has been a great addition. Right out of the box it was ready to use, which I really appreciated. No assembly required—just place it where you want it and start organizing. The cabinet itself is lightweight but still feels sturdy enough for storing small parts and miscellaneous items that tend to pile up in a garage. The 44 drawers make it easy to sort everything from screws and hardware to random tools and odds and ends that used to live in a messy pile on my workbench. I also really like the sleek, clean look of the unit. It fits nicely in my workspace without taking up too much room, which is important when garage space is limited. Despite its compact size, it holds a surprising amount of small items and makes everything much easier to find. Overall, this is a simple but extremely useful storage solution. Perfect size. Other people gave this product a bad review saying was flimsy or didn’t come with deviders etc. My honest review, is it’s plastic so don’t expect it to be as strong as a metal storage system. If you’re going to hand it without bottom support, it will sag. Either place on a flat surface or put a bottom support. It works perfect for me and will probably get another one.

I purchased one of these cabinets in November for craft storage. I didn't think I would need more than one; however, when I started organizing my craft supplies, I quickly realized that I would need a couple more cabinets. I order two more and will be working on my craft room organization. I purchased two of the white color cabinets that have the two sizes of drawers and one with all large drawers. The storage capacity is amazing. I have a lot of little jewelry findings and sublimation blanks that fit perfectly in the drawers. They are sturdy enough to hold everything I currently have, and I created some labels to be able to find everything at a glance. They look great on the long bookcase I have in my craft room. As for the dividers, I haven't used the ones on the back of the cabinets. If I do need dividers in the future, I have chip board I can used to make them. All in all, a great find for someone who has a lot of craft supplies.

I’m not ashamed to admit I collect junk. I maintain my sanity in today’s hellscape by making tiny weird things out of other tiny, weird things. These drawers have my mid-size garbage/treasures/supplies organized to an obnoxious degree. I had six 24-drawer units stacked and anchored to a studio wall—now it’s eight. They hold everything from cut nails to seed beads to animal bones to microscope slides. With my 7th, 8th, and 9th cabinets, I went with 44- and 64-drawer units. I’m so excited! 😂 Great thing is, drawers from chests purchased 10-20 years ago are interchangeable with new ones. Since the 90s at least, the drawers have been made of a slightly flexible, translucent Rubbermaid-esque plastic. I can rearrange drawers endlessly between different units, and they are virtually indestructible. Housings are harder—maybe polystyrene?—and are made with stops to allow drawers to hang out, open. Easy, consistent, fully assembled, and durable. Also, the drawers have internal rails—I can divide them in half with strips of cardboard if I want. (The back of the unit has plastic dividers one can snip out to use as templates, too!) The price keeps going up—but buying through Amazon is cheaper than most big box retailers. And, the Amazon warehouse often has “like new” models that add another few bucks’ worth of savings. These are still made in the US—and isn’t that something to support? Akron, Ohio for the win. I love supporting a US employer/manufacturer. EDIT: unlike most craft storage totes and caddies that have a ton of wasted dead space and are made to eventually crack, tip, or fall apart, these units are heavy enough to not wobble or slide around, and they are compact—barely larger than the drawers they hold. They definitely take a beating, making them a great choice for art supplies, beads, Lego, as well as nuts, screws, and bolts. I could rave about great storage for days—these are at the very top of my recommendation list. IRIS brand storage has a tendency to yellow. Akro-Mils does not, in my experience. I’d rather avoid throwaway plastic junk and buy something made to last a lifetime (that just happens to be plastic).

I bought 10 Akro-Mils storage cabinets to organise and store my entire stock inventory for my online business, and they have been fundamental to allowing me to run and organise my business properly. They offer a huge amount of storage in a really efficient way (providing that the items are relatively small), and it’s surprising just how much can fit into them. The clear plastic drawers make it really easy at a glance to see roughly how much space is left to fill and what item is in each container, and the material allows for labels to be attached fairly easily. (For reference I use a label maker to print custom label stickers, and they adhere very well). I’ve had problems in the past with effectively labelling storage drawers, as stickers don’t attach well, but with these cabinets, that isn’t a problem at all. I really like how the bottom 12 containers are double the size of the top 32, as it allows for versatile storage, and makes the cabinets suitable for a wider range of items. The material is a lightweight plastic, which makes it really easy to lift and move the cabinets, but it also durable and can hold a decent amount of weight without feeling flimsy. The plastic smooth and is easy to clean and dust. They also have 4 holes in the back on each corner, so can be very simply mounted to a wall, which makes them really strong. They also have 2 grooves on the top and bottom of each drawer, so they can be stacked on top of each other perfectly, making it a perfect storage choice for anyone looking to expand their storage in the future. I would personally recommend this item to anyone, and for the price, nothing comes close in terms of quality and practicality. 10/10!

Sturdy construction, good size, well designed, no assembly required, the drawers are strong and the construction of the unit stops the drawers being pulled all the way out by mistake (the drawers can be taken out for cleaning etc). There are several bigger drawers that are a good size as well as the smaller ones, there are dividers included that are moulded in to the back of the case that can be removed and inserted into the drawers which is excellent. There are built in fixing holes built in to the unit to allow fixing to a wall, unit can also be placed on a shelf etc; it is a very good design, the unit is made of strong plastic and should last years. I bought two units and I am really pleased that I did.
