After reading online discussions and reviews about septic treatments I chose the Pro Saver system package. We had our 16 year old septic system pumped out the week before the Pro Saver package arrived so it was necessary to introduce the bacterial preparation via a toilet since we had already covered up the septic and planted new grass seed over the top. Very easy to accomplish with the only downside is the small amount of hydrogen sulfide released from the material. It is very volatile so it dissipates within an hour or two. Would be smarter to dump it in the tank directly after the tank is pumped out and before it is closed up. As a PhD chemist the smell didn't bother me but I am sure others would rather not deal with it. Can't really comment as to the effectiveness of the Pro Saver application yet. Time will tell but given the age of our system it seemed like a sensible thing to do. We plan to use the monthly enzyme packets over the next year too.

Been using this on a older septic system with failed and slow draining leach field. I gave up using all the stuff you can buy at the store as it was just a waste of money for no improvement. Started using this earlier this year and within two weeks on a fresh pumped system we gained 10% capacity in the leach field. I dosed it again without pumping in July based on recommendation from my pumping company. I have since January been able to gain almost 50% capacity of my leach field back. This product isn't instant and you need to have a realistic expectation that a bio remediation additive takes time but will work. I would like to try the 2 gallon treatment next year after pumping to see if I can gain anything additional. The increase has allowed the septic to reliably process 150 gallons more liquid daily than before which has been a miracle.

We've been buying this kit every year since it was recommended by our servicer, and will probably continue to buy it every year until we are no longer here, which will probably be a long time.We have used the system at capacity for going on six years, with one pumping. The contractor recommended BioGreen, but wow, over $200 that doesn't even cover a full year? So, after doing some comparison shopping, I have decided to give this product a try.The package arrived within a couple days. It was well packaged and the instructions are easy to follow. Now it is wait-and-see if it works as advertised.
