Chili-Trade Hungarian Paprika Premium Quality Origin: Kalocsa,Hungary (Sweet, 250g)

I've used good quality Hungarian paprika before, and it is astonishing in colour and flavour. It also has a secondary effect of thickening sauces, just like flour. This particular paprika is as good, maybe even better, than those I have tried before. Of particular note, it is surprisingly sweet in taste.If you are making a goulash or pörkölt this it is an essential ingredient and should not be used sparingly. It is also great for adding colour and sweetness to many other dishes.If know all these things already, why are you reading reviews and wasting cooking time? Go order this paprika and get in the kitchen! And pour a glass of Bull's Blood while you're at it!

Perfect quality *

I bought 3 types of this brand, the sweet, smoked and hot smoked.All are wonderful. Nice strong flavour and great for so many dishes we cook, including our goulash, jambalaya, chilli con carne and many more.We use a lot of paprika so these nice size bags are perfect and well worth the money.

Can vary in flavour a tiny bit but overall can't be beaten especially against Spanish variants. Lovely colour and substance. Tried loads of different makes from everywhere but Hungarian is the best bar none.

I don't know if this is good value compared to supermarket paprika but the taste is so much fuller. I buy one of these and a hot smoked one about once a year and they see me through.Fully recommended

Made chicken parprikash using this and it turned out amazing ,family loved the meal. I keep using it instead of normal paprika powder

Used to enjoy goulash, but not for a long time now (supermarket and brand-name paprika pretty rubbishy).Have just discovered this Kalocsa paprika - what a revelation! Delicious flavour; wonderful colour. Please don’t ever stop stocking it.
