TIANSE Spiral Binding Machine

Disclaimer: I have not yet bothered to use the binder feed (the electric part of the machine that is used to feed the coil through the punched pages). I just manually twisted it through - which works well. I have no iea how well the electric coil feed works, but if it’s anything like the rest of the machine, it’ll be fine.The punch has some nice features that make it possible to have slightly larger covers (top and Bottom) to the interior pages. The punch does cut at least 12 pages at a time. It can handle covers with two layers of cardstock that has been thermo-laminated (so pretty thick). Good cuts. Note: the pitch is a 4:1 ratio (4 holes per inch), so when buying additional coils, make sure you get the correct size coils.I make 1/2 size letter books (5.5x8.5”), and have been very happy with the results.Definitely a good machine.

The machine works and punches well, but you can only do six or eight sheets at a time. Twelve sheets as it says tends to make it stick. It takes a while, but it gets the job done.

This is my new favorite toy. We homeschool and purchase PDF workbooks for out curriculum. I used to send the PDF to office depot to have it printed and bound, but they have become hard to work with and the nearest one is a 2hr drive away.Now I can print the workbook at home, bind it myself, and the kids can get started right away.

3-gear margin adjustment is not functional. this makes each punch unpredictable.

This thing is amazing! Very easy to operate and make custom spiral books!!

Update: received the replacement and it does work. Not completely happy with it still because I'm afraid I'll break it each time I use it.Debating on whether to keep or return it--------Just received mine today. Would only punch holes on each end, did not punch any center holes. Very disappointed. Expecting a replacement tomorrow. Will update once it arrives and is tested.

This has been perfect for every project I have. Such a fun and useful tool.

Good machine, but not heavy duty. I'm not punching more than 5-6 pages at a time. I would give this purchase 4/5 stars, but it did not come with the crimpling pliers which is very disappointing.
