Crocs Women's Capri V Flip

After two years of trying to break in a pair of notoriously popular Rainbows and still getting blisters from even short walks, I decided to look elsewhere to fulfill my desire for a nude-colored flip flop. I've always found Crocs shoes to be comfortable, but hadn't tried their flip flops before. I'm normally a size 8 but tend to be a size 9 in Crocs products, so that's what I originally purchased. However, the size 9 in this particular shoe is much larger than stated in the size guide (which is a single guide for all of their shoes). You can see it pictured here compared to a size 9 Crocs Kadee II flip flop that I purchased around the same time, which is much shorter despite these purportedly being the same according to the size guide. I exchanged my Capri V for a size 8 and they fit perfectly. It's not the sleekest design in the entire world, but these look great for casual wear and I've even worn them with a dress before. Most importantly, to my relief they were immediately comfortable right out of the box, with no need to break them in. They have caused some pain after extensive walking (only sneakers don't do that, in my experience), but for a moderate amount of day-to-day living, these feel like walking on a cloud. I hope they're still making them when the time comes for me to purchase my next pair.

These shoes have fantastic arch support. I have problems with my back, and as soon as I walked in these shoes, I had less back pain. It was amazing! The shoes are comfortable. The straps fit well. I usually wear a size 8. In the front of the shoe, there is enough room for my toes. But in the back of the shoe, my feet are on the edge of the shoes. I did not return them for a larger size, because then they might be too big. But these shoes definitely run small. A half size larger would have fit me better.The shoes are not smooth against your skin -- they have many tiny little bumps on them. Maybe the bumps are supposed to be good for the feet, but I don't like the way they feel. The material does not burn my skin, like some cheap flip flops have done in the past. They don't dye the bottom of my feet strange colors. The shoes have some cushioning, but they are also firm. The shoes came with instructions on how to avoid injury while riding on an escalator. Apparently, sometimes flip flops get stuck on an escalator.

Crocs Capri V are my FAVORITE sandal/shoe! They are my go to shoe. They helped cure my plantar fasciitis years ago and I have been wearing them ever since. I put them on the minute I wake up. These are more comfortable on my foot than any running or walking shoe I have ever tried. I actually wear them for my 4 mile walks! I wear them when going to big box stores where I can spend close to an hour shopping on those hard cement floors. I have pairs I wear indoors only - I keep my house clean :-) and pairs I wear outdoors, and pairs for yardwork. I only wear other shoes when I play golf or tennis, dress up for dinner out, functions, Dr. visits, etc. I DO own plenty of 'cute' shoes, but for daily housework, shopping etc, I live in these. I actually bought 8 pairs in tan years ago when they cured my plantar fasciitis and I fell in love with them. I also have one pair in turquoise and one in leopard that I wear only in my house. Glad I purchased so many as they were discontinued. Now, even though I don't wear a lot of black, living in Florida, I was so happy to find them. I have worn out 3 pairs already over many years I had them and I never want to run out of them. I normally wear a size 8 1/2 or a 9 M, but these fit me perfectly in a size 8. I hope they bring them back again some day, but Crocs continues to add and change styles for some silly reason, instead of sticking with the basics that made them a success. I did try other shoes, flip flops and inserts recommended by podiatrists, but Crocs Capri V is the winner for me.

I just purchased my second pair of Crocs (Capri V Flip Flop). I had the black graphite (purchased three years ago) and now have the light tan ones. They wear great as you can see from the photo, the black ones look almost like the brand new ones I just got. They are the most comfortable Flip Flop that I have ever owned. I am thinking of purchasing other colors along with another pair of black just to have them on hand. You cannot beat the price! I have seen these in stores in the Caribbean for $60. so at this price, you can purchase two for the price of one! I wear them walking instead of sneakers and they are extremely comfortable. No blisters and no issue with the piece between my toes. You will truly love these Flip Flops! One additional comment . . . we travel to the Caribbean alot. It rains and the sidewalks and pool areas get very slippery . . . these flip flops have a great sole that prevents slippage in wet pavement. I've learned not to wear cheaper brands because the soles are smooth. You need good traction. These shoes provide that traction.

I love the Croc flip flops. They are basically all I wear in the summer months. Extremely comfortable, and if you have to be on your feet all day, these would be great for you. I had to try twice for these brown ones however. The first pair I ordered, it was like someone with a wide foot tried the right one on, realized it was too small and returned them. It was so loose on my foot, I had to send them back. So I got the second pair, and I didn’t have that problem, but they seemed longer than others. I wear a 9.5 shoe so I ordered up to a 10 like they said to do, and I think I could have gone down to a 9 with these. I have some last year that are 9’s and they fit fine, and I have some other 10’s I bought this year that are fine. Consistent sizing would be appreciated.
