Good for the price

Installation was simple and a perfect fit although this battery would only charge to 75% the first day and the second day it was completely dead with zero ability to hold a charge.

The Apple people really don't want us messing around inside their products, so the installation itself wasn't easy or user-friendly. But this battery was a perfect fit and brought a more than ten-year-old iPod back to life and function. I can once again access a great playlist.

My iPod photo battery now lasts just short of forever, which is awesome. I had to replace the original to fit an iflash mod.The only issue is that the battery didn’t fit. I had to squeeze the pack and reroute the wires to make it work. The initial charge took a long time which made me anxious… did I break my iPod, mess up the mod, or is it just taking forever to charge? Have more patience than me!

Battery works correctly, but the board for the battery connector stuck out too far and as such the battery wouldn't fit correctly in its spot. With how tight the tolerances are in the iPod it wasn't going to work out. There was enough excess PCB to where I was able to trim the board down and get it to fit properly but you shouldn't have to do that to begin with.

The wire is on the short end, not the long side like the original battery so it is too long and does not fit inside the space in the 4th gen iPod.
