Does the job
I fitted it to a standard Gibson banjo pot. They come in at about 11 inch. This just 14 inch and it makes it really hard to fit. It really needs to be 16 inch to allow for a bit of grip when pulling it. Its a fairly thick skin but it is also fairly consistant across itself. Give about 30 mins of soaking and it will soften up for fitting. Happy with it and the sound is good.

What can one say about a banjo vellum? Does what it is supposed to do for a lot less money that similar items on the market. I have no quibbles at all and my ancient zither banjo looks lovely and plays even better.
