You wanted all in one? You got it.
Makes up for all the vinyls, and gear I lost in the house fire almost a year ago. Unfortunately nothing is ever gonna replace that gear and extensive vinyl collection so I'm forced to go digital. Being honest it's a huge mark on my soul, since I've been doing this nearly all my life, but this thing is so much fun to use and mess around with. I've never used Serato before this point, and have to say since I've learned it I actually prefer it over VirtualDJ. It's so easy to load tracks, it accepts damn near any format, and sounds great regardless of format. The weight isn't too bad, but I'm a bulky person myself so heavy lifting is nothing to me (imagine the crates of vinyl I used to carry around, way more convenient and easier on my back.) The effects are great, they remind me a bit of my Korg Live Zero 8 which as buggy as it was - I fell in love with for it's versatility and feature. This is pretty close to that, not to mention the modularity of the Rane PERFORMER allows for me to add a KAOSSCILATOR if I want, don't feel I need it honestly though. Probably the best bang for buck you can get, unless if you're going for one of those crazy $10k controllers, which I don't see the need for. Everything feels so quality, easily adjustable, going to be honest it also looks somewhat easily repairable which is a huge bonus to someone like me who likes to keep their gear until it becomes dust. Everything just works great, was very easy to setup, and DJ'ing with this thing feels a lot more stress free than it used to. No strange bugs, hitching, or personality quirks. RP4 is just ready to go just like that, it wakes up and beat juggles for breakfast.

Best "portable" Controller made today.
Look if you're looking in the neighborhood for controllers in this price range, you are not going to beat this one. Pio's cant hold a candle to the build quality and sound from the Performer. This works out of the box with Serato, VDJ and Rekordbox. ASFAIK there is not a Traktor mapping for this... yet. I hope there is one day, or someone makes one and sells it because this combined with NI Traktor would crush anything. That said the sound an functionality come a price: Weight. Due to its FAR superior build quality this guy weighs more than the competition. But that also comes with some bonuses of things like Longevity and durability. Take that as you will, I sold my S4MK3, to get the FLX10, and sold that to get the Rane Performer and finally satisfied with my current gear. My flight case has wheels, which isn't ideal but having a seriously reliable piece of gear, one that I can trust to "just work" without issue is worth the weight and price. I highly recommend Rane at this price/function standpoint. You'll just be happier in the long run.

this controller is a musical beast , before this i had the FLX6 controller , that thing feels like a toy compaired to this , This RANE controller is well built , sounds clean and crisp , a boat load of FX's , was built to work with Serato dj software , but it will work with virtual DJ

Rane is a great brand!
I've been a DJ for many years, and I've tried various other brand dj controllers, but believe me when I tell you... the Rane Performer is by far the best dj controller I've ever experienced! My 3rd Rane controller so far.. they all are great, but this one takes the win! Definitely a ☆☆☆☆☆ 5 star! Value for your money.. ☆☆☆☆☆ Ease of use.. ☆☆☆☆☆ Quality.. ☆☆☆☆☆ Functionality.. ☆☆☆☆☆ Sounds Quality.. ☆☆☆☆☆ Microphone Clarity.. ☆☆☆☆☆ Rane is a great brand! ☆☆☆☆☆

Rane Performeer
It’s a gorgeous thing. Beautifully made, beautifully finished – just staring at it feels good. Disappointed however, that they elected to not include a print copy of the manual. Evidently that’s not “environmentally friendly” (their words). So now I have to roll a car seven miles to the local Kinko’s. Would’ve gladly skipped the poster, stickers, lame quick-start and handkerchief thingy, to save that seven mile drive.
