The shears were badly made. Each time I used to cut, the handle kept locking, making me having to keep pulling back the leaver to open up again. They did not retract as they should do. The spring every now and then, kept coming apart and falling out as well. Very disappointed considering that they were suppose to be heavy duty. Not worth any more than £2 in my opinion.

Worked well on tough stems but on the third day the spring pinged off into the dense brambles!

Was fed up of replacing three pound for two cheapies so decided on these as they were discounted as well. I put the two foam pieces (supplied) on the handles and this gives a nice grip, the catch to lock the blade is really stiff so no popping open when in a pocket. These secateurs slice through rose branches like butter and wisteria as well , it takes the strain out of pruning.

Low quality, expensive for what they are

Didn't last long down on the allotment. Spring soon broke

Poor quality, spring keeps popping off, safety clip clips back in a majority of the time when cutting which makes it difficult to carry out easy pruning jobs due to having to constantly having to release safety catch.

I was able to cut down a lot more thick branches and it was done with a smooth clean cut. Highly recommend it
