Bliss sweet as summer & anguish sharp as ice shards.
This book completely healed me & absolutely wrecked me at the same time.💕✨The writing was so poetic, whimsical, & soul-touching. Allison weaves magic with words.❄️The lore was impeccable. It honoured the Pixie Hollow we know & love while building on that world & deepening it beautifully.🌳Allison’s vocabulary is incredible. I loved how many times I was looking up luscious new words.🍃The fairy life details were utterly enchanting! From the delicious foods to the flowers that were crafted into striking fashions, every detail of life was designed for pixies & it was so magical.🧚🏻♀️No spoilers, but the meaning behind the monsters & how they can be defeated made me weep with hope.🥹The depth to this story & to these precious characters was marvelous. I feel so connected to Clarion—her insecurities as well as her strengths were poignant & deeply relatable.🤍And lastly, the romance. Oh, the tender, precious, beauteous depth of it. I would never call this romance “sizzling” for it burned—bright & true as a falling star.💫Clarion & Milori deserve every happiness & now I need to watch The Secret of the Wings to fill the gaping wound in my heart with its hope of happily ever after.🦋This book was astounding. It was perfection. It not only met, but far exceeded my expectations & hopes. This story is fully welcome into the official canon & lore of the Pixie Hollow I hold so very, very dear.💕So, in the words of Queen Clarion herself, “Born of laughter, clothed in cheer, happiness has brought you here. Welcome to Pixie Hollow!”✨

Soooo goood!!!!
This book made me laugh, cry (a lot) and loss sleep. If your like me and watched the tinker bell movies as a kid then you'll love this book as much as I did! The story and characters were well written, it had all the same magic of the movies and a beautiful romance. The only thing I didn't like about it was it had a gay couple buuuut I like the rest of it enough to ignore it.

Good book, OK ending.
I was so excited to read this book. I've always loved Tinkerbell movies and Secret of the Wings is one of my favorites. The book is written just like the films, which I enjoyed for the nostalgia factor. The romance is sweet and tugs at the heart. I thought the story could have been a bit longer with more information on the villains, but the resolution worked out nicely. I took a star for the ending, it just didn't feel satisfying.

Beautiful and Nostalgic
Jumping back into Pixie Hollow felt wonderfully nostalgic. This story captured the exact essence and way of life from a beloved world. I felt like I was there every single time I had my book open. The slow pace to it was absolutely necessary and comforting for the type of spellbound events that occurred. I could not have dreamed up a better way for us long time fans to experience the relationship that unfolded between Clarion And Milori. I don’t know who to thank at Disney, but you could have not picked a better hand to write and weave the fabric of elements that pull previous Pixie Hollow history and a current point of view that Allison has interlaced. After I read this I bought it for my cousin to make a book bouquet to give to her at her high school graduation.

Beautiful fairy story
If you liked Disney's Secret of the Wings and wanted to know why Milori's wing is broken, this story explains it. Hauntingly beautiful ending. Loved seeing more of Queen Clarion and how she became queen. This avid fairy fan adored this story!

Young Adult Fantasy Romance
This is a Young Adult Fantasy Romance. I normally do not read Young Adult or Fantasy. I picked this book up because my teenage daughter really wanted me to read it. It took me a super long time for me to get into this book, but I am not sure if it is because this book is not my type of book. I found the pacing to be super slow moving for the first half of the book which did not help me to get into the book. I found the last half of the book to be good. The ending of the book is heart breaking. I also wanted to yell at Clarion to stand up for herself. My daughter who reads Young adult fantasy all the time loves this book so much, so if this is your jam then you should love this book.

Brings back childhood memories
I was a huge Tinkerbell fan when I was a child so when I heard there was a book about Queen Clarion and Lord Milorj, I had to get the book! This was a young adult romance and I loved it! There was danger, adventure, love, and friendship encompassed in this story. It broke my heart to see Queen Clarion make a difficult decision on forbidding to go to the Winter Woods. Clarion really developed through the story and became the queen she was fated to

Loved this audiobook!
My daughter and I decided to start a a book club for us and read all kinds of stories. This was our March book and I was very excited to read and then I learned about the origin of this story. And the ending and even so, I am so glad I read it. I loved Clarion so much. I loved her resilience and her strength, even with her insecurities and doubts. With her coronation just around the corner, the last thing anyone expected was the nightmares that were coming. The current queen is training and helping Clarion come into her own, but should she follow what someone sets out for her or what her heart wants.I loved how Clarion and Milori worked together, even with so much stacked against them. Their journey was not easy and the ending broke my heart, but I loved their story and was so happy I read it.Happy reading!
