Great for snakes and spiders
I’ve purchased this color twice and love it. The color is eye catching and shimmers like mica. It just adds a special touch! This is a great color for snakes or spiders if you’re printing any kind of critters. It prints well and has no tangles. There’s not stringing or bumpy texture either. Overall it’s a great filament for a decent price. Will continue to purchase this variety in the future!

Works Flawlessly and Looks Beautiful.
This is a great filament! The print quality is astonishing on any settings and I can always rely on the adhesion to be perfect. The shine and deep color of this PLA makes this by far my favorite filament to print my Flexi Phoenix with. Everything always comes out looking and feeling great from test prints to final products. This is a must buy for any Flexi Factory model!

Some kind of gunk mixed in the filament
This is the first time I've purchased Amolen filament. I've bought hundreds of rolls of other brand filaments and I've never seen anything like this. Didn't see this on the surface until it had been printing for a little while and the printer paused because of a SEVERE tangle. That's when I saw this gunky stuff mixed all inside the filament. It’s such a shame because the colors are very nice and I was really looking forward to trying Amolen filaments. I am returning to Amazon for a replacement. I'm hoping that it was just a fluke, otherwise, I will never purchase Amolen again. I'll update my review when I receive the new filament. UPDATE: Amazon sent a replacement roll of the filament. It printed perfectly and the colors are amazing! I’m so happy with it. Amolen reached out to me and are giving me a full refund for the original roll. I can’t wait to try other Amolen filaments!

very good
Very good quality filament! Light stringing but easy to remove with a little heat, very smooth printing, adhesion is good, looks beautiful. the only thing i noticed different than favorable name brand filaments is that this brand (amolen) is a little more difficult to mend. If your print breaks and you heat the 2 parts and push together, it takes a little more work to adhere, but once it does- it holds strong

Amolen Filament is Top Tier
THIS... Is amolen branded PLA and I can honestly speak on behalf of almost every single color and dual color they have to offer. Amolen is one of the top filament brands that I have come across that really doesn't charge an arm and a leg. Is this filament more expensive than the easy go-to $15 rolls? Yes. That being said, the final product is unparalleled. If you are new to 3D printing then please take my advice and don't cheap out on the filament that you use, and the temp guide that comes with amolen PLA is pretty good as well. The wood filament is always between 20 and 30% real wood and I can actually sand and stain my products as well. If you are having stringing issues just do retraction 2mm for direct drive or 5-6mm for non-direct drive and that pretty much solved my issues on the wood filament (and a good general rule of thumb). As for the dual-color filament, it is super cool but something that has a learning curve. A gyoid pattern can cause the filament to spin on the spool somewhat and mess up the pattern on your print, but as far as the actual filament it is some of the easiest to print with without tangles. Amolen has quickly become one of the brands that I trust to deliver consistent prints without clogs, even on the Silk PLA I never have a clog which is the one that I usually clog on. Amolen also always has really good deals to go with their filaments and offers several color and material types (even TPU!) so you can rest assured that you have a trusted filament brand for most of your printing demands.

Pretty Garbage - Pun Intended
I really wanted to like this filament, it looks really nice but the layer adhesion and strength of the final product is terrible. I tried various settings and was unable to get smaller more intricate prints to hold up, they would print fine and look great but fall part if you look at them wrong, good luck getting them off the print bed in one piece. I literally used over half a roll of filament testing various settings and nothing worked. I got to the point I reached out to Amolen for support, to which they replied to increase the wall thickness, hmm go figure thicker wall = stronger part right....nope. I tried going as high as 80% infill with 2-3 wall thickness and still yielded the same result. Finally returned the roll for another one thinking I must have a bad roll seeing all the good reviews. In hindsight I see similar reviews mentioning brittle prints. It seems if you are printing anything with area's less than a ~1/4 inch thick they will likely break at these points, even the 2nd replacement roll I received had the same problem right out of the bag. Thicker prints come out fine and look great. So if you are looking to print some nice looking thicker bulky items this is going to work good for you, if you plan to print thinner more intricate parts look for another brand. Update: I will also add that this filament also does not do well with overhangs at all, I print a round egg with several other filaments and they all come out with very minor flaws where the overhang is starting on the base of the sphere, however this filament by far comes out the worst. I would say hands down this is one of the best looking but worst performing filaments I have in my collection of 25+ filaments many of which are silk. It can work well and look great in certain situations or with certain models but I would expect to be limited on what you can produce with this filament.

I can pull string by string layer by layer (not only the first layer). I've tried to decrease the speed, higher and lower temp doesn't change a thing. I've tried value inside the range for this filament. I've also tried to dry it, doesn't change a thing. The first layer seems fine at first but it can be riped apart. This is the only brand that I have that does that. Won't buy anything from AMOLEN anymore.

Also mit Farbverlauf.
