For the Peacock Blue, I was expecting a more teal, green-blue you’d see on “peacock” feathers or from the ocean; however, the blanket I received was dark navy blue. I was a little disappointed because I wanted that pop of teal to go with my décor and plans. I will have to look elsewhere for the color needed. It’s not something the company can do anything about unless they modify the coloring in the material or modify the color on the website, but I will use this in probably another room and still gave it 4-1/2 stars. ***Washing****: Recommend washing by itself as it is very heavy when wet and may elicit alerts from your washing machine to re-adjust it and spread it out for the spinning cycle. ****Fabric/ Feel****: The fabric is a touch-inducing, buttery soft, chenille great for cuddling under or laying on. It is heavy and ideal for cold weather, and the texture and knit pattern add to any decor. ****Design Style/ Look****: The look is indeed “chic” and the large crochet design does have a little bit of a bohemian vibe and maybe a little bit of a nautical/ rope-y look. This would fit multiple styles – Bohemian, Traditional, Modern, Farmhouse or Rustic, and more. ***Décor****: This Afghan blanket will be draped over the couch/sofa or placed in the middle or bottom of my guest bed as an accent piece, but this can also be rolled up and put in a basket, rolled up and used as a floor pillow, draped over the chair, chaise, or couch/ sofa arm or the back, used as a comforter/duvet, folded and used as a bench cushion or draped over a bench, and even hung over a shelf or ladder, and more. It’s very heavy but could be hung if the rod and wall were sturdy enough.

Well I have 3 of these blankets. 2 for the queen sized bed, and a small one for the couch/tv area. I was enjoying them immensely, but the third one arrived with a weird smell. I ended up washing it to get rid of it. It’s fine now, but I shouldn’t have to do that!! That being said, these are the softest, coziest blankets I’ve ever owned!! Even though they are designed as an open weave, they are very warm. If it wasn’t for the smell issue and taking a chance on that being random- I would buy everyone on my Christmas list one of these!! UPDATE ~ I bought the king size one in pink and NO SMELL!!! I need to apologize to every single blanket I’ve ever owned because this one is THE softest. Ever ever ever. 5 stars for softness ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Luv this! Washed well, good quality! Very soft and looks great! Throws sometimes can be so hot. Due to the cable knit, air can get through so u feel snuggly but not too hot. U can double it over u for the extra warmth!

This blanket is absolutely PERFECT! I have made hand knitted blankets like these, and this one is as good as I can do myself. The stitches are even with no big gaps. You cannot buy the yarn for making a blanket like this for what I paid for this blanket. Absolutely beautiful! I love it and highly recommend this blanket!
