Would recommend over jetboil. I like how the pot fits on to the burner prongs les likely to fall and you just lift no trying to twist off a hot pot. Built in lighter was a great thing! I have a jet oil too and this one boiled a bit faster unless it was really windy or below 40 degrees. Needs a gas can stand otherwise good product.

I used this for a trip to Arkansas and man this stove sounds like a jet! The time it says to heat water combined with a put made for the stove is no joke! Couple of minutes and you have boiling water! Could not recommend enough! It is easy to ignite. The way the stove and pot that is made for it make it safer than other designs as the pot will not slip off. I am not sure about wind protection but I think it is powerful enough to not struggle in most conditions. It is pretty small, not as small as some but still compact. Over all would highly suggest!

This little stove arrived in good shape and looks exactly as advertised. Very reasonable price! Haven’t tried it yet, but looking forward to using it on my upcoming bike tour.

I got this with the Fire Maple Petrel pot since they're supposed to pair well after reading about it in another review. I don't know if I used the right fuel but the description said isobutane only, but all I can find is Isobutane-propane mix so I used it. Didn't seem to take any damage so I guess it's the right mix. Anyway, I packed a bunch of foods in mylar bags and decided to try this before my upcoming trip and I'm glad I did. Perhaps it's the fact it's 100f weather outside, but it boiled 1.5c in under a minute at MAYBE 1/3-open. Unfortunately the rubber on the handle of the pot did melt a little but I honestly didn't expect it to actually work. Ir maybe I need to turn it down further? Awesome if that's the case. At any rate, very happy with this stove since starting a campfire where I will be camping is a dumb idea with how dry it will be.Edit, 10/30/24: I've had the opportunity to finally cook with this thing in the low 60's and high 50's, and if it doesn't have a gas pressure regulator in it, I'll be surprised. I'm able to cook my soups and even an actual meal of sausage, peppers and onions in tomato sauce on it using a small ceramic lined titanium skillet I borrowed from a friend and it's doing great. I'm actually still on the first canister of the size that is marketed to fit in the pot I mentioned above, and I've cooked or warmed up food or water about 17 times now. I found that I did have the heat up too high and that's why the rubber on my pot's handle melted, so that's on me. On that bit, just being patient and letting it do its thing is what I believe I owe to having lasted through the first canister for so long. It's getting low now, but still impressive. Also, the piezo is working less now, but I attribute that to the wind here, as it's pretty windy. I typically just have to open it up a bit more then wait a second or two before clicking it. There IS one arm starting to stick, so I think I might put something on it to try to get it to loosen up. Gotta think about that one though so I don't burn it up. Overall, incredibly impressed and happy with this purchase.

Excellent stove. Works great with the Petrel pot. A jet boil at a fraction of the price.

Great price. Works good. Piezo igniter works and is convenient. I just went on a trip with a friend who has the MSR Pocketrocket, so was able to compare the two. The Pocketrocket did boil water a little faster, but this guy did just fine, especially considering it's a fourth of the price of the Pocketrocket.
