Let’s get back to the basics, counting koala bears for my first grader!!!
The media could not be loaded. This set of counting koala bears for kids, math practice, it’s very practical and helpful. I probably should’ve gotten this for my son when he was a toddler, but as it is, he is now in the first grade and is really struggling in math. One of his biggest problems is rushing through the math problems—despite being single digit, addition or subtraction—simply because he doesn’t take his time to properly count. A friend recommended getting these counting bears, and I totally looked out by finding a koala bear version. My son is crazy about everything, Australia, and marsupials, and of course, koala bears. These are so adorable and they come in varied sizes and cute colors. You could use these anyway you want, but I think it is best to use as intended with the calipers. When my son uses the calipers are properly count to the koala bears, he is so much more accurate, and he's having fun while doing it! It is also gotten him to slow down and to think about the numbers he’s adding or subtracting. He’s definitely a visual learner and these types of tools as basic as they are are essential, especially if your kid is having problems, simply counting up and backwards! It’s never too late to get these counting bears for your kid. Whatever it takes to help them and you’d be surprised how quickly they will catch on and become more accurate. The set itself is a perfect size. I got just enough so that these bears won’t end up everywhere around our house. It’s the perfect set that comes with the cups calipers and the counting koala bears. It’s great quality and my son actually uses them with his math homework. Highly recommend.

Really a fun educational toy
My 18mo and 2yo grandbabies love sorting these by color. We are learning to distinguish size also. Yes, I know the pieces are small. I would not recommend them for children under 3 without close adult supervision. My babies dont usually put thinga into thwir mouths and are only allowed to play with them when an adult "plays" too. There's so many different ways to play with this set. We are looking forward to them growing up and learning all the different levels of play.

Fun, educational and eye catching colors
I have seen many activities out there similar to this one but I like this one for a few reasons.I like the different sizes of the little bears (big/small). My grandson matches a big and small together like a "Grandparent and Grandson". He simply loves the little bears. We not only can sort by color but we can sort by size.Love the colors.....6 bright colors and matching bowls (Red, Green, Blue, Yellow, Purple, Orange). They also included 2 small pair of tweezers that actually work. My 2 year old grandson can use them. The set of bears, tweezers and bowls came in a little plastic bucket with a lid. My only complaint about it is it is rather flimsy (thin plastic). The lid doesn't stay on very well. Will potentially have to find something else to store the set in.I like this toy because you can have lots of fun in a variety of ways (sorting, counting, colors, etc.). What better way to learn.

Great toy and learning tool
There are a lot of these out there, but I specifically like these for a few reasons. My kid absolutely adored that they were koalas. Also, each color has 5 "big" and 5 "small" koalas - or in house mommies and babies. This is an added benefit that many do not have. With the big/small you can sort them by size as well. The 6 colors they come in are vibrant - as pictured in the listing. The two little sets of tongs are just the right size and seem to actually work - which isn't always the case with toys like this. The bowls stack away nicely and are great to have for play/sorting/counting etc.My only complaint is that I really like the plastic container they came in for storage - but the lid to that plastic container is flimsy and isn't staying on any more after a bit of use. That said, it's not mean to be a storage container so no stars deducted or reason to hesitate buying these. 10/10 would recommend!
