This Santa Claus has traded in his sleigh for a helicopter. He is an image from a 1950s Christmas card. To make him I printed the image on heavy luster paper with archival inks, bonded it to hardwood, then cut it out individually with my Excalibur scrolling saw. It's exacting work, but I love doing it! I This ornament measures approximately 3&1/2" x 3" and is enameled gold on the back and sides. It would make a perfect grab bag gift and looks wonderful on a Christmas tree or wreath.
