Within a few days it irritated my monroe piercing and it became ulcerated and the bar was embedding itself in to the piercing. I’ve had my piercing for 11 years and it’s never happened before. I made sure it was properly sanitised, as I do with all my piercings and jewellery. I’ve taken it out and not put another back in.
