So having recently been diagnosed with certain ailments, I decided it was time for a lifestyle change and so said goodbye to my daily sunny side up and switched to healthy breakfast. Enter Steel cut oats. Having read up about them, I was looking forward to bringing in the healthy. Well, to that end, these are definitely a good choice. But.. and please take a look at the photos I've put up... This is just good 'ol daliya! My parents have of course had a good laugh and given me a 'told you so', but that's what these are guys. So my hunt for a healthy cereal continues :D

They also share a list of recipes you can cook with it. Tried one savoury recipe and loved it.

I bought these oats for a daughter who is just 9 months old at the moment. I wasn't too happy to give her the instant oats that you get in the market only because they are processed. I see that some people have complained that this takes too long to cook, but, if you soak them overnight you can cook them for about 20 mins in a deep bottom pan. The quality is good but it surely is slightly pricey.
