I actually bought this as a re-hydrator for my cat's acne, but I do know that witch hazel works as a great clarifier of skin, so I've been using it - and it's positive outcomes are completely visible in just a few days. This product really is free of anything, BUT the witch hazel, which is fantastic, and the phenoxyethanol is a natural product for the witch hazel to maintain freshness. I know it says it's unscented, but it DOES have a slight odor, but I think it's just the witch hazel itself rather than any additives. Also wish the product was filled completely to the height of the bottle rather than leaving an inch. But it's an excellent product otherwise. It IS 12 ounces to the typical 16, which would be preferable given the cost is the same as other witch hazels at 16 ozs, but I've been using other Essential Living products before and I really appreciate their products, content-wise and visually. Before you buy - do note that this is a toner, not an astringent, so check which you need. Otherwise, would recommend.

This is the only witch hazel that I can find that doesn’t have alcohol in it. It’s completely natural, nothing in it that shouldn’t be and it’s extremely effective and gentle. I use daily after washing my face, before I moisturize. It’s also a pain free wound cleanser that my kids appreciate (great on acne). I won’t buy another brand again. Scent is what it ought to be - nothing synthetic.

I mix this "American Made Alcohol Free Witch Hazel Toner - Unscented" with some mostly pure aloe vera gel and now enjoy pain-free DIY aftershave. I've been using this since it arrived with zero negative reactions. This product is the best for my needs; not to mention the ability to find such a product with ease that only Amazon offers - together with excellent purchase, processing, shipping, delivery. I will likely purchase again and promote it to others with similar desires/needs.

So I bought this for one of my clients, NOT myself, who was just MISERABLE due to her recent health diagnosis, ontop of her Fibromyalgia, and she was suffering from painful rash patches that popped up on her face. I immediately thought to try to find the ALCOHOL-FREE WitchHazel, (that wont dry out your skin) unlike the regular that I use. It's SUPER HARD TO FIND, but I found this, gave it to her to try, and her face LOVED the stuff. Her rashes were tamed drastically, and some went away completely, and quickly! So YAAAY for this stuff!

This helps relieves the redness and sensitivity of my rosacea in addition to toning my mature skin. Don’t need other witch hazel products labeled “alcohol free” and loaded with other ingredients because this 98% witch hazel.

I use this morning and night after washing my face before I put in moisturizer. It’s my favorite product of my skin care routine now. I feel like it’s helped the quality and texture of my skin.

Love it’s natural and it is unscented but the natural smell it has, can’t do it.
