Excellent Quality and Great Value

Great box of LED light bulbs
We got this because we were running low on LED bulbs for our house. I'm sure they won't last 9 years like the box says, but I think you'd be hard pressed to find any LED bulbs this price that last anywhere near that long. I'd rather have extra bulbs for cheap that I can replace when they start to flicker, rather than pay a bunch of money for bulbs that might do the same thing. If you're looking for bulbs to put at the top of your stairwell where you can't reach without a ladder, then sure: spend the extra money on a bulb that will last a long time. But for all the easy-to-reach fixtures in your house, is it really worth it? My dollar says no. I can replace a cheap bulb quite a few times before I start to question whether the time involved outweighs the cost. The quality of light is good, similar to a regular tungsten-colored bulb. No flickering or banding. I don't notice any noise, but then again none of our lights are on dimmers. They seem durable enough for our uses. And I'd rather use 9 watts rather than 60 any day of the week. Might opt to choose daylight-colored bulbs at some point, but that will be a whole project in and of itself.

Bulb life is not as expected.
LED BULBS DONOT LAST AS LONG AS ADVERTIZED. I have changed all for LED and am constantly having flickering and outages. I certainly had hoped for a much longer time between changes. The color of the light is great and seems to be consistent from bulb to bulb. We leave some bulbs on constantly in areas where there are no windows and they last months, not years. Overall, we prefer the LED bulbs.
