A great product to widen your shoes, just a bit
Works like a charm. It was easy to use and saved a pair of hiking shoes. I really like.

They work!
Does a good job stretching my Doc Martens. I have a high arch and the top of my foot is usually very cramped. I also have wide feet so that part of my shoe needs stretching. I’ve used it on four pairs of boots so far. I did buy a leather relaxer spray to help it along, and I’m glad I did. My shoes are way more comfortable. I love how there are various spots where you can insert separate plastic nodes for where your toe bones hit the sides of your shoe. As well, you can expand the heel backward to lengthen the shoe, outward to widen the heel area. There are also plastic pieces to place on the top of the shoe area to expand that as well. I can’t yet speak to the durability as some reviewers have said that they break down after a few uses. I have not experienced that. I recommend these for the price. They’ve been great.

They Work Great, Maybe Too Great
i have used these with 5 pairs of shoes and don't see them tiring anytime soon. they do what they say and lengthen and widen the toe area of too tight shoes or boots. they were shipped in a sturdy shoe box like box and had a bag for future storage along with the add-on bunyon pads. having watched video tutorial, i first loosened the black knob then slipped each into the boot or shoes. then i tightened the block knobs as tight as they would go. next i twisted the metal turn key until it could not go tighter. then i left the shoes sit overnight. i did this at least 3x on my tightest shoes and swear they loosened at least a 1/2 size in length and width. truth - only not without effort. BUT - there are two caveats. first, these will also widen the entry into boots and shoes. not sure how or why but they are wider where your foot enters. it requires me to pull the laces much tighter to tie up the tops of boots. in a pair or two, they now slip in the heel area where they never had before - but they were also super tight on the toes and now they are not at all. trade off? caveat #2 - the shoes to feel less supportive, almost as if the pressure needed to lengthen and widen also reduced the cushioning or midsole form. the result is that my feet are more tired and crampy in my most favorite and main boot i got these for - Danner Mountain 600 Thinsulate...my favorite boot of all time for hiking and dog walks. and now, the right she seems less cushioned causing right foot bone pain, which i never ever had before. so - wishing you luck in your attempt to expand shoes but know finding the right size in some models is likely the best bet. i am now planning to update the Danners but do have these stretchers in one full size too small Merrell winter boots and plan to use them in Vintage brand leather chuckas next. so they do work, and well, maybe too well?

Works great with boots
It works fine to stretch my brand new boots. I have regular shoe stretcher but it didn't work for boots so I'm glad I found this.

Worked great!
I was skeptical that this would work on my heavy pac boots. They have always been too narrow, allowing only the thinnest wool socks for hunting and ice fishing. I wear a size 12, and I sized up to a 13, and still too tight . I was wrong. This worked great for widening both the felt liners and the boots themselves. I can now wear heavy socks with room to spare. It has improved the warmth of the boots as well, as now it doesn’t constrict my circulation. This was a great purchase. I highly recommend them.

These are sold as a 1 pack
My review is based on the fact that this item is for a 1 pack. While this would be a great value for someone with only one foot, those of us who have two feet would want one for each shoe. I didn’t notice when I made the purchase that it was for only 1. Pretty sure most people would assume it’s a two pack.

Love this – had a bunch of shoes that were causing foot issues, but after stretching them out with this device they were much more comfortable and no longer caused issues. Easy to use, durable, and overall good quality product.

I got two of these in one box, $59 - others reviews complain they only got one. Build quality is very good - quality plastic and strong. They are designed for their intended function. Sure, wood versions would be great, but much more cost. Easy to figure out how to use Helped stretch my doc martin’s over night. Happy to have these stretchers for future tuneups if needed Can recommend - but pay attention to the size you need - get the right one to avoid a return.

Does what it should

A bit pricey for plastic material shoe stretchers. I appreciated the included additional toe and upper pieces as well as storage bag and shoe horn, but I've used these stretchers three times and feel like the mechanism within will soon strip and render them useless. I would have preferred hardwood and metal parts for durability and longer life and feel it would have been a wiser investment.
