Never been into CoD...until now
I've never had anything against Call of Duty, but also never really found myself getting into it much. I've played the games that came for free with the PlayStation Plus subscription, but not much else beyond that. Recently, a group of close friends recommended Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. At first, I was hesitant, but my friends really talked it up. I decided to give it a shot...and I'm REALLY glad I did! This iteration feels like a massive improvement over the CoD (and Battlefield) games of yesteryear. It just feels...well...fun!! The controls are amazing, the variety of modes and weapons seems almost endless, and the online functionality is as smooth as butter. Of note, I'm playing on the PS5 Pro console and haven't encountered a single technical issue thus far. Very impressed! This game is obviously perfect for CoD die hards, but also a welcome upgrade for those looking to dip their toes in. Definitely worth at least checking out.

I am one of those gamers that will skip a COD game every few years. With that being said, I haven't skipped a black ops game. After playing cold war and getting disappointed with vanguard, it was a hard to even consider playing this let alone MW3. I borrow MW3 and I disliked the zombie mode. One of the main reasons I even play call of duty games. Black ops has always had the best zombie maps in my opinion and I can say that they still do. I picked this up to manly play zombies and it has consumed over 60hrs of my life. The regular multilayer is fine, I tend to find myself only playing nuketown...again. The campaign is really good and they even attributed a level to zombies. My biggest negative would be the split screen. It's not great and it feels like it was a last minute though. Although I don't use split screen as much as I used to back in black ops 3 days, the online multi-player for zombies is fantastic. New zombie maps are coming with the next one coming out in a few days.
