The kids need the splash pad daily!
If the automatic roll up system isn’t enough of a selling point by itself everything else about his should be.I’m on my second one (only because I’m dumb and didn’t blow it out before winter came and it froze) but I would buy it every year if I had too. The reel on this is unmatched it’s smooth and easy to lock, it’s easy to roll back up even if you have all 130 feet rolled out. It makes rolling the hose out for the kids splash pad daily a breeze 30 second process tops. The swivel head makes it beyond easy too pull around corners and different weird angles that you may have in your yard. The mounted bracket is extremely easy to mount and it makes a nice easy removal process when you need to store it. On top of all that it’s an incredible sleek look that isn’t even comparable to a conventional hose reel.If you haven’t bought one already don’t think twice.

Would recommend.
Works well and easy to install.Have had it installed in our backyard to water our garden daily for about 3 months. The retracting mechanism works as expected and keeps things tidy. It is a huge time-saver and the has a very long reach. It comes with sturdy hardware for installation and seems to be built to last.

Excellent for gardeners, not so much for water pressure.
Owned this since 2022. I purchased another one for my back yard the following year. I love to garden and watering was always a hassle with the typical wind up garden hose. This solved that! Way easier to use and had enough pressure to water flowers. If you’re looking to replace your traditional hose so you can use it to power wash, hook up lawn sprinklers or wash your car with. This ain’t it. The pressure just is not there for that. We still have a regular wind up next to the two of these. So we can use them to water our lawn, power wash or other jobs that requires more water pressure. I also strongly recommend bringing them indoors if you live in a climate that dips to freezing temps. Just ordered a replacement for my first one due to it leaking. No doubt it got damaged from freezing temps even though I empty it each year and disconnect the hose from it. I wanted to try to see if it was fixable before ordering a new one. After I took over 40 screws out and still wasn’t close to getting it opened I decided to just order a new one…. I’ve never had a hose do this before. Clearly due to the hose being inside I missed an area this year when clearing water out of it at the end of the season. Somehow I didn’t miss it prior years though. I deducted a star for lack of pressure. Not because I couldn’t take it apart. Still worth the purchase so I can water my flowers and vegetable garden daily without having to drag out a heavy hose then wind it back up.

Simply life!
So glad I got this. Was a Mother’s Day present. Two months later and about to buy another one. We were getting new hoses every year. They got holes all the time, were heavy and hard to put away. This works great and only takes a minute to put it away every time. If you are still using traditional hoses it’s time to take the leap!!

Worth the Expense
Love this purchase. I wish they had an option with a metal post to purchase for installation. For the price I also wish a metal mounting piece came with. It is available for purchase separately. I currently don’t need it. You do need a 4 x 6 post to install. I installed on a fence post and added a second 4 x 4 that I already had. This is 125ft and reaches my back fence. No regrets.

Make sure you Measure the distance to your house Spicket the one that comes with it is like 6ft?
Absolutely amazing huge help to our kids with filling all our animals waters not a huge amount of flow but good enough thought it would be stronger with the smaller hose diameter but it’s fine the hose that connects to the house is short so make sure you measure an order the correct one other then that works awesome! Licks great flows smooth an reals back in good!!

Very, very leaky
So I actually bought this hose 3 years ago and it has sat in our garage unused until a few weeks ago. 😅 I was so excited to finally install it and I’m a bit disappointed. Everything leaks, bad. The connection to the spigot and the sprayer both leak so much water that I have to make sure I’m not wearing good clothes or shoes because it’s guaranteed I will get soaked. I’ve tried loosening and tightening and nothing works. If I would have actually installed it when I bought it 3 years ago, I would have returned it because it’s a lot to spend on a leaky hose. I will say that the mechanisms work well so far and it’s been a lot more convenient than a regular hose.

Overall, a vast improvement over a crank reel
Overall, I like it.Mounting on a 4X4 was fine but you're going to have to angle the included lag screws in a bit--the bracket's made more for mounting on a 6X6 OR mounting to an existing wall. That being said, the 4X4 worked just fine and is plenty sturdy. Took me about 5 minute total to mount it.I wanted a longer one, but opted for the 100' because of the metal bracket. Once I got my hands on the bracket I realized plastic would have been okay since the "metal" bracket is either cheap pot metal or, possibly, aluminum. Works fine but doesn't inspire a lot of confidence in how long it'll last.Make sure you've got some teflon tape on hand for the connections--despite being brass, they're not at all tight but with a four or five wraps of teflon tape, they seal up nicely. The unwind/rewind mechanism take just a few minutes to get used to. Getting the hose to lock into place when you pull it out is sort of hit and miss, but you get the hang of it quickly. REwinding, on the other hand, is a breeze and WAY better than having to crank a hose reel. I let it re-wind through my hand so there's no grass getting into the mechanism. My only complaint is the nozzle which is complete junk. I swapped it out for a Craftsman nozzle and it works very well.
