An overall guide to the entire species including rare breeds. While I wish everyone to adopt a regular cat from a local shelter ( I have 3) those interested in the species can enjoy the breed at a glance along with the wonderful photographs

My 6 year old is an aspiring veterinarian and loves to guess the breeds of cats that regularly visit the animal hospital that I work at. Armed with her new book that I purchased, she was able to identify and describe all the breeds of cats she saw and I couldn't have been more proud. The book is very detailed and has great photos that accompany each breed making it the perfect reference for anyone looking to better understand our kitty companions. Highly recommend

Exactly the type of book on cats I was looking for. Great reference for different breeds of cats. Although most of my beloved cats have been SPCA specials, I have owned pedigrees in the past and may again in the future. In the meantime, I'm just enjoying the book.

This book is wonderful for the every day cat owner who is hoping to maybe figure out what breed your critter may be or just to learn about all the breeds available and which one is best for you and your lifestyle! There's also info on how to begin showing cats and the requirements for each breed. My favorite part was the in depth descriptions of the personality and characteristics of cat breeds, they were really helpful!

This is a brilliant hardback book with lots of colour pictures of every breed of cat imaginable, I would recommend this book for cat lovers.
