Audien ION Wireless Rechargeable OTC Hearing Aid, Premium Comfort Design and Nearly Invisible

Audion Ion hearing aid was purchased May 5, 2025, after about 6 weeks of use the right ear piece would not take a charge. Called Audien and received excellent customer service, they replaced the hearing aids. The hearing aids function as advertised and would recommend the product.

I have been wearing hearing aids for about 15 years, some good, some not. These are the best I have used, my only regret is not buying the blue tooth version, only because of added ease of adjustment for different environments.

This is my first experience with hearing aids. I had my hearing tested several years ago by an audiologist. I was told I needed hearing aids. The price was out of the question. My hearing continued to get worse. I developed compensating behaviors. After two weeks in a row of not being able to make out anything said at church, I decided I needed to do something. I looked online. I found the Audien brand was recommended. The Ion model is affordable. I decided to give them a try. I have been wearing them for two months. It does take some getting used to, but I am very pleased with the change.

If you are wondering if these really work… You are doing yourself a grave injustice not giving yourself back the gift of hearing. My husband has hearing loss due to working with loud machinery and hunting. Pro hearing aids were to costly and I had seen/heard great reviews about these and thought what do I have to lose. He is beyond happy to hear again all the sounds he was missing. He loves these and said if they break today order me another pair TODAY! He was so impressed that he told his brother (same reason for hearing loss). He too was amazed and impressed and will not go without them. I also told one of my girlfriends and she ordered a pair and loves them as well. We are all sold!P.S. My tv volume is back down to normal levels. WIN, WIN!!!

So a 4 star review is being generous. Ordered on 4/22/2025, received a few day later, after reading the instructions completely I started using as directed, determined to give it a good effort to work. This is an amplifier, so it has several problems, but I still worked diligently to get through those areas, I hoped. after about ten days it was clear I was not going to be able to use this product, no substantial hearing improvement. So the return was started on May 4th and dropped of to UPS on May 6th, Amazon received it on May 9th. Here is where the 4 star rating, hopefully, will get this posted. The refund for this item took until June 5th, not acceptable, not even close to acceptable. So if you need a hearing amplifier, that does not work, and need to return it, be prepared for a long wait, they are quick to remove the money from your account but very slow to refund, which, by the way, has not been my experience with Amazon in the past. Amazon's explanation was because of the cost of the item, they needed to delay the refund, my reply is I will never buy anything from Amazon that expensive again. Disappointed with Amazon and their policy. This deserves a 1 star rating but they won't post if I do.

I am so pleased with the outcome of these hearing aids I ordered for my husband. He’s had some medical issues and , frankly, when the Aiden Ion quit working I just sidelined them. Recently I wanted him to start wearing them again and realized they didn’t work. I called the number on the box and was told new ones would be sent out immediately! It had been several months since purchase and they were so accommodating. The new ones make John’s life so much better. I understand every purchase May not be perfect, but Aiden Hearing aid, stood by their product.

I will update this review if/when my husband decides if he wants to keep them. One pair of the ear plugs fit. Now, I will have to order more of them. The charger wire is so short that with the charger sitting on his dresser, the wire cannot reach the outlet behind the dresser. They sure weren't thinking well with that issue. The only place in the entire house where it will reach is on the bathroom vanity and I don't want an electric item near running water. So, as well, I will have to find a longer wire to buy.

I really like the Hearing Aids The issue is Amazon just started a sale on the same item at $100 off. I called Amazon about it. They can't refund me the $100 even though I bought them about a week ago. I would have to return the aids for a full refund and then rebuy the aids at the lower price. Kind of crazy but that's the way it works. I purchase thousands of dollars a year thru Amazon. Loyalty means nothing I guess. Edited June 16, 2025. I ended up returning them. One stopped working. They worked well when they worked. I reordered them. Hopefully it was just one bad one. We will see. They were kind enough to refund quickly. 6/18/25 I received my new set. I love them. They work well without feedback. I'm just hoping I didn't get a bad one this time. Nothing is perfect.
