Great for small screws.

I got these because I had a failure on my 3d printer and needed to replace the heatblock; a bit of plastic had gotten into the threads of the 3mm grub screw that retains the thermistor, and my allen key was rounding over trying to get it out. Well, I thought, a screw extractor should be able to get a better grip on that, right? Wrong. This extractor didn't grip at all; instead the threads on the extractor wore away within minutes. Note how the threads have mushed and dulled on the bit in the photo. This is after a couple of minutes trying to use the thing only with a hand screwdriver handle. A screw extractor should be able to survive cutting into a screw! I tried the "drill bit" as well, but that's even more of a joke; I don't know which of these was supposed to seem like a cutting edge, but it did not function in either direction. As far as I can tell these are made from mild steel, which is not capable of cutting into a steel screw.Avoid.

They seem like a decent tool kit but not small enough for my screws unfortunately. :(

Used the fist time and the pieces disintegrated. Cheap Chinese metal!!!! Dont buy!

Actually used this kit for a stripped screw on one of my red dot sights. It great for that if you really know what you're doing

I was able to remove a small bolt that had broke in half with this tool. I was also able to remove the replacement bolt that was too long and was stuck with this tool. Then I used a shorter bolt to fix the problem.
