Works!
I was very skeptical of this unit, but I went ahead and bought it anyway. Im excited for the summer months to come so we can use it full time. I bought it before our trip to the Bahamas at Atlantis. Logistically it was kind of a nightmare but once we got it to where we wanted it ( I had to use my carry on suitcase to haul it around everywhere because it’s too heavy to carry long distances) the device worked well. My only drawback is that you need weights so you can stay down at the ocean floor longer. I was by some rocks which I could hold onto so it was pretty cool to stay down for 10 minutes at a time. I only ever went about 10 feet down. The air hose isn’t very friendly and gets in the way if you swim any other direction than a straight line but that wasn’t really an issue for me. My kids tried it and they didn’t like it because they don’t even like snorkeling very well so it wasn’t because of the device as much. The unit is a tad noisy but it didn’t scare off the fish. Overall if you’re a hobbyist it’s decent but if you know how to snorkel and can dive down easily it’s probably a wash for you.
