general goodness
Cheap and effective. Without a load these don't touch. With a load these are slightly pre-loaded. With Road Active Suspension and Sumo Springs that will about max out a half-ton trucks payload and towing, it won't make it haul more, but it feels better towing with these on. Less sway and less body roll.

Worked Much Better Than Expected!
Installation:The SumoSprings were very easy to install. Total install time was about an 1 hour on a 2013 F150. The location and difficulty of removing the factory bolts was the only issue that added to install time. Removing the rear wheels before install would be advisable.Performance:The SumoSprings definitely increased the ride height of the truck when hauling. I installed these to counteract the tongue weight of the travel trailer that I haul (about 800 lbs). Without the springs there was a lot of squat and dolphining when towing even with the weight distribution hitch. After I installed the springs the squat is minimal and most of the dolphining is absorbed by the springs while towing. I can't speak on any sway or stability performance increase while towing because I never experience a problem without the springs. Sway control was not an issues, and continues to not be an issue with the SumoSprings installed. Overall, I am very impressed by how much these springs changed the performance of the truck. I am very pleased.Unloaded:There is no identifiable, negative change to the truck when unloaded that I can notice. In fact, the only two attributes that I feel might have changed are positives. I believe the truck absorbs shock from bumps much better. What was once rattle and clatter is now a thump and dampen experience that is quite noticeable. The other change is body roll. The SumoSprings noticeably react while cornering to counteract body roll. The truck is much more stable in turns, and I can only assume that provides added stability while towing. I enjoy that it did not change ride height and did not stiffen the suspension.SSR-117-47: I ordered these because they are rated at 1500 lbs. The other springs on Amazon are rated at 1000 lbs. These did not show they were compatible with my truck from Amazon. However, they were the model number that was recommended by the SuperSprings website. I had no fitment issues. Not to mention the price was unbelievable! Conclusion:Extremely happy. I had some reservation with the bump stop replacement springs not being able to provide the additional support I needed. I wanted to increase ride height while towing, and my concern with the SumoSprings is that the 1500 lbs was not available until the springs were 50% compressed. I was afraid that the squat was still going to be present with these type of springs. This could not have been any further from the truth. The SumoSprings dramatically increased ride height, and performed flawlessly for what I wanted. I am highly recommend these towing applications.

7600lb trailer F150 Eco Boost
My biggest concern was my truck squatting under load. I pull a 30’ 7600lb dry weight camper with my F150 eco boost 2020.Just returned from a round trip 706 mile trip. The springs did great. Total squat was about 2 inches. Cornering was very rigid, the camper stayed right with me. No bouncing on dumps or dips in the road. Some install videos said to jack the truck or remove tires. I just climbed under the rear of the truck, removed the bump stops and installed the springs. You don’t need a jack, and I don’t know why you would install from the side.I didn’t use the spacer. If you do the spring sits right on the axle, which would lead to be a very rigid ride even without a trailer. If you like a ridged ride, use your jack to lift the body a touch. Your need an extra 1/4” clearance to install the spacer.Riding around for over a month. I can’t tell the springs are there unless I hit a big bump. You get an occasional firm thump in the rear without the spacer, as the leaf spring is allowed at least 3/4” travel before the sumo spring hits the axle.I went with the black sumo spring as I wanted minimal squatting with my trailer connected. Some videos I watched the yellow will allow you to squat 3-4 inches. Normal everyday riding the black is almost like off the dealer lot. Under load, it’s a world of difference. Highly recommend.

Excellent
Easy to install, and do not adversely affect daily driving, yet help tremendously to stabilize the vehicle and reduce sagging when towing heavy trailers or hauling heavy loads.

2018 F150 XLT with Max Towing Package and 29 foot/6500lb trailer.
Super easy to install on my 2018 XLT 4x4. Just bolt off manufacturer bumper stops and install Sumo. I did not add the spacer to allow about 3/4" unimpeded travel with full gas (max towing package; bigger fuel tank). I am towing 6500lb trailer with a weight distribution hitch. Without the Sumo springs it sagged more than I liked - rear dropped a little more than 2 inches. On bumpy and wavie pavement then trailer would start to buck too much and my front struts were leaking fluid. I put these on and the sag was greatly reduced, the ride firmed up without the bucking. I am installing the Sumo's for the front springs next. I used the black - 47's without the spacer, but think maybe the blue - 40's with the spacer might be a better combination. Especially after watching the Sumo spring video.

Handled great
I put them on my truck and hauled my 8500 lb camper 60 miles to a state park in the mountains. They worked perfectly, hardly any bounce in the rear of the truck.

WORTH THE MONEY!
First thank you for option to buy used and on prime day because they were a killer deal. This is the second truck I have had these installed on. I’ll start with the only negative. They are advertised when installed there is a 1” gap between the axle and spring. That has not been the case on either truck so it will give a slight bounce going over bumps. I’ve gotten used to it and the pros outweigh the cons. I’ve had air bags and helper springs but there is a lot of maintenance with those these are bolt on and forget. Makes the ride quality when towing much better and reduces sag. If your on the fence you should do yourself a favor and purchase. Definitely recommend!
